Because Sammi had never seen it! The movie famously starts as a gritty crime thriller about the Gecko brothers (George Clooney and Quentin Tarantino) on a run to Mexico, only to pull a hard 180 into a full-blown vampire bloodbath at the "Titty Twister" bar. Robby and Sammi both really enjoyed this 30 (!!) year old flick and can see why it's become a cult classic.

Sammi and Robby lament the main character's "dumb decisions" and inability to "shut the f*** up," making her a poor horror heroine.
