Today's guest on the podcast is Corey of the Cincinnati Noisey Blackened Hardcore band, In Heaven!

Formed last year, I discovered this band recently by trying to find something blisteringly heavy to listen to and came across their brilliant Self-titled debut EP, which was released this year on the 1st of June!

Corey will be on the show today to talk about how this band began, his background in Hardcore, how the Noise and Black Metal elements influenced the music, and will be discussing each track on the EP, breaking down their sound and lyrics in each song.

    Oct 11 2026

Today i joined by Jakub of Tolokoshe!

Jakub was first on the podcast with this musical project back in October 19 2024, nearly one week from today, talking about his latest single release at the time, 'Cosmic Holiday'.

Now he makes his long awaited return on the show to talk about his first full collective release as a band with Tokoloshe's latest EP, 'We Fell Apart'!

A lovely direction the band has taken on this release, myself and Jakub will be talking about each track on the EP, covering what the new direction of a full band has taken with the music and why he decided to go in that route. We'll be discussing the ideas behind all the songs (aliens of course get a mention), the beautiful music video that was shot for the band's latest single U.F.O, which is available now to watch on YouTube, the incredible artwork for the EP and of course what the band has in store for the future.

Loving having Jakub on for chats, always an immense pleasure so I hope you enjoy the episode!

And if you want to see the band play live, they'll be playing Sin É on December 4th!

  • Episode 257: Exitium Sui
    Oct 6 2026

Today on the podcast I am joined by ES of the Australian, one man Black/Doom Metal band, Exitium Sui!

Exitium Sui breaks a 2-year silence with ground shattering blackened doom record “Unravelling”. Confronting the dark chasms of the human psyche, “Unravelling” negotiates liminal space between utter chaos, complete seclusion, and fathomless depravity. Equally as blackened as it is funeral doom, leaving no artistic stone unturned and no crevasse unexplored.

ES pushes the filth across the board while staying true to the doom moniker. The vocals are deeper, clearer, and more harrowing, the keyboards are less present, giving more room for snarling riffs and an unrelenting vocal performance. The result is a record that is less layered and more cut-throat, retaining the projects immense atmosphere but in a much more visceral approach.

With all music written, recorded, mixed, mastered, and produced by ES alone, the record features guest vocals by Drew James Griffith and a re-recorded epic rendition of ‘Until the End Hath Found Us’ from the project's debut EP.

Exitium Sui has once again teamed up with Meuse Music Records to exceed expectations and challenge perceptions. Releasing September 4th worldwide, welcome the call to graves.

I will be going through the entire album with, talking about the recording process, the themes explored through the lyrics, the music video and of course, Black Metal.
