What’s Clear to Me is a life podcast hosted by Dr. Brian Amorello, featuring Dr. Konstantin Lukin. NEW EPISODES EVERY WEDNESDAY! Brian is a psychologist, author, football fanatic, traveler, and gay dude who is often far more interested in what happens outside the therapy room than inside it. The show is about real life — relationships, emotions, travel, bad decisions, hard lessons, and the moments that somehow make more sense once you’ve survived them. Konstantin brings another perspective and isn’t afraid to challenge Brian along the way. Expect real stories, real opinions, humor, uncomfortable conversations, and very little pretending that anyone has life completely figured out. Brian is also the author of the forthcoming memoir, Passport Stamps and Red Flags: How I Failed Out of College, Earned a PhD, and Kept Dating the Wrong Men — so questionable decisions are not exactly in short supply. If the truth is awkward, funny, messy, or mildly incriminating, it’s probably fair game. At the end of every episode, Brian answers the question that gives the show its name: So… what’s clear to me? Perspective changes everything.

  • 🚨 CLEAR! Emergency Pod — Whose Dirty Laundry Is It Anyway?
    Oct 31 2026

When does telling your story become airing dirty laundry?

In the first-ever CLEAR! emergency episode, Brian addresses the criticism surrounding his decision to share deeply personal family experiences. But this isn't about airing dirty laundry. It's about breaking the silence surrounding difficult experiences and recognizing the power of honest conversations.

Brian reflects on how opening up about his family's past has created opportunities for understanding, accountability, forgiveness, and healing—including a profound shift in his own relationship with his mother.

What happens when we stop avoiding uncomfortable conversations and finally give ourselves permission to have them?

Sometimes the conversations we've avoided for years are the very ones that allow us to move forward.

  • What's Clear to Me About Therapy
    Oct 28 2026

What does therapy really change? And how much of that change depends on what happens after you leave the therapist's office?

In this episode of What's Clear to Me, Brian and Konstantin discuss the challenges of starting therapy, the importance of the therapeutic relationship, and why meaningful, lasting change requires more than simply showing up.

Then Brian welcomes one of his best friends of over 20 years, Luke, whose friendship began under some pretty outrageous circumstances! But the conversation quickly becomes personal as Luke opens up about his struggles with addiction, his decision to enter inpatient rehab during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the role therapy has played in his recovery. Six years later, Luke reflects on accountability, honesty, sobriety, and the life he's built through his commitment to personal growth.

Plus, the group tackles listener questions! It's an episode filled with humor, vulnerability, friendship, and a reminder that change doesn't happen overnight.
