 I'm Chelsea Cruz and I like to sew. Give me a sewing machine and some fabric and I'll be happy for hours. I can't imagine anything better than spending my day alone in my sewing room, stitching away at my latest project. And I don't even care if I make anything gorgeous; it's all about the process for me. One of my favorite things to do is to take a poem from my favorite author and then stitch it on a dress.     People seem to think that if you are on the same level, or lower than someone who has done something, then you cannot understand what they have gone through and the pain. But it is a fallacy. You don't need to be on the same level as someone else in order to empathize with them and know how they feel.

I find myself asking this question constantly, and the answer is always the same. One way or the other, it's always the same: I should just accept it. It's not like it's possible to change anything.
