  • The Dream Killer | How Junk Science Almost Executed an Innocent Man
    Nov 2 2026

In December 1982, twenty-one-year-old cocktail waitress Debra Sue Carter was brutally assaulted and murdered inside her third-floor apartment in Ada, Oklahoma. The crime scene left behind fingerprints, biological fluids, and handwritten messages scrawled across the walls in nail polish.

Yet local police had no physical match.

Facing immense public pressure, detectives zeroed in on former high school baseball hero Ron Williamson, a man suffering from severe, undiagnosed schizophrenia. With no direct evidence, the state built a capital case on cellblock informants, deeply flawed microscopic hair analysis, and a rambling statement made during an active psychiatric breakdown: "I had a terrible dream... I dreamed I killed Debbie Carter."

Ron Williamson was sentenced to death. His co-defendant, Dennis Fritz, received life without parole.

In this episode of Truth Will Out, we trace the sixteen-year fight to overturn a manufactured conviction. From the windowless underground cells of Oklahoma's H-Unit to an emergency stay granted just five days before lethal injection, this is the clinical breakdown of how modern DNA testing exposed junk science, cleared two innocent men, and revealed that the real killer had been sitting on the witness stand all along.

  • 2016's Killer Clown Craze | BONUS Halloween Minisode
    Oct 29 2026

In October 2016, a viral internet craze turned into a nationwide policing crisis across the UK. What started as online shock-pranks quickly escalated into genuine terror—with costumed figures blocking dark country lanes, stalking school gates, and brandishing real weapons.

In this Halloween special mini-sode of Truth Will Out, we examine the rapid escalation of the "Killer Clown" epidemic: how an internet meme crossed into serious criminal offenses, the legal reality of weapon possession under British law, and the night an armed prank stopped being a joke.

  • The Butcher of Rostov | Andrei Chikatilo's 12 Years of Terror
    Oct 26 2026

Across twelve years, dozens of young women and children vanished from transit hubs and railway platforms between the coal basins of the Donbas and Rostov-on-Don. Their bodies were abandoned in the lesopolosa—the narrow windbreak forests flanking thousands of miles of Soviet railway tracks.

Yet for years, official state dogma maintained that serial sexual murder was a capitalist disease nonexistent in a socialist society.

In this episode of Truth Will Out, we trace Operation Forest, the largest and most secretive peacetime manhunt in Soviet history. From the catastrophic 1984 serology blunder that set a monster free to the USSR’s very first criminal psychological profile authored by Dr. Aleksandr Bukhanovsky, this is the clinical breakdown of the hunt for Andrei Chikatilo.
