• Episode 5: NERD!!! Why Growing Up Shouldn't Mean Growing Out of Yourself
    Sep 3 2026

When did growing up mean growing out of the things you love?

As life gets busier, it’s easy to lose touch with the things that once brought us joy. Work, responsibilities, relationships, family and the constant pressure to be productive can slowly push our hobbies and passions further down the list.

In this episode, I talk about the importance of embracing who you are and making time for the things that make you who you are.

We talk about some of the passions that have stayed with me throughout my life, from music, film and gaming to martial arts and Warhammer. And why I don’t believe becoming an adult, a parent or a healthier version of yourself means you have to leave those things behind.

Because your hobbies don’t always need to be productive.

They don’t need to make you fitter.

They don’t need to make you money.

Sometimes, it’s enough that they simply make you happy.

We also explore why health and fitness shouldn’t consume your identity, why having a life you actually enjoy is an important part of living well, and why building a healthier body should ultimately give you more life to live, not less.

    Some topics covered:

    -My love for music

-The importance of having hobbies and interests

-Embracing what makes you who you are

    -Warhammer (NERD!!)

-Embracing the things that bring you joy in life

-Why training shouldn't be your entire identity

    and more!

  • Episode 4: Training That Fits Real Life-You Don't Need More Time, You Need a Better Plan
    Aug 19 2026

Life gets busy. Work demands more of us, the kids come first, and before we know it, our own health has slipped to the bottom of the priority list.

In this episode, I explore one of the biggest misconceptions in fitness, that getting results requires hours in the gym every week. The reality is that effective training doesn’t have to consume your life.

I discuss why the all or nothing mindset keeps so many parents stuck, how to build a training routine that works around a busy lifestyle, and why focusing on a handful of fundamental movements can deliver incredible results.

Whether you’re getting back into training, struggling to stay consistent, or simply looking for a more realistic approach to your health and fitness, this episode will help you shift your mindset from perfection to progress.

Because training should support your life, not take you away from it.

    Some topics covered:

-Why the all or nothing mindset is holding you back

-Why more training doesn't automatically mean more results

-How to structure effective 30-60 minute workouts

-The big "bang for buck" movement patterns everyone should prioritise

-Why consistency will always outperform intensity

    and more!

Thank you for coming on this journey with us.
