  • Barry Morphew’s Murder Charge Was Dismissed in 2022. Suzanne’s Body Brought It Back.
    Oct 22 2026

Suzanne Morphew disappeared on Mother’s Day 2020. Barry Morphew was charged with her murder in 2021. The case collapsed in 2022 when the state’s own failures destroyed its ability to present the evidence. Suzanne was still missing. Seventeen months later, her remains were found fifty miles south of home — in a county that wasn’t part of the original investigation. Bone testing confirmed the wildlife tranquilizer the prosecution had theorized but couldn’t prove. This documentary tells the complete story in three parts: the marriage Suzanne was privately documenting, the digital trail from the night she vanished, the prosecution that destroyed its own case, the body that brought it back, and Barry’s arrest in Arizona under the name Lee Moore — with an AR-15 and a silencer in a safe at the home of a woman who didn’t know his real name until five days before law enforcement arrived. Trial is July 2027.

  • Barry Morphew Had Access to the Drug Found in Suzanne’s Remains
    Oct 21 2026

In September 2023, CBI agents found human remains in Saguache County, Colorado — roughly fifty miles from the Morphew home, in a county that wasn’t part of the original investigation. Suzanne Morphew had been missing for more than three years. The first murder case against Barry had been dismissed seventeen months earlier. The autopsy identified butorphanol, azaperone, and medetomidine in bone testing — three drugs that form BAM, a wildlife tranquilizer used to immobilize elk and deer. The medical examiner ruled the death a homicide. The original prosecution had suspected a tranquilizer but couldn’t prove it without a body. Now the proof was in the bones. Barry had access to BAM through his Indiana deer operation. His last prescription was filled in March 2018. He told investigators he used BAM in Colorado in April 2020, then denied it. No other private BAM purchaser in the surveyed region was identified. A renewed grand jury indictment followed in June 2025.

  • Barry Morphew’s Driveway Sensors Caught WHAT at 3 A.M.?!
    Oct 20 2026

On May 10, 2020, Suzanne Morphew’s daughters tried to reach their mother all day. A neighbor found the house locked, her SUV in the garage, her bicycle missing. Barry Morphew was near Broomfield, more than a hundred miles east, on a construction job he’d left for before dawn. Investigators pulled Barry’s phone and truck data. His truck recorded sensor activity between 3:25 and 3:51 a.m. — while Barry claimed he was sleeping. His phone powered off at 2:47 p.m. Saturday, came back at 10:17 p.m., went dark again at 4:32 a.m. Sunday. At 6:10 a.m., Barry texted: “Happy Mother’s Day. I love you.” Suzanne’s phone had been silent since 4:23 a.m. It has never been found. Barry spent less than thirty minutes at his work site across almost ten hours. He made five stops, several involving disposal. The state built a murder case. Its own procedural failures collapsed it before a jury could hear it.
