• What Is Beyond Identity? | Ep. 19
    Oct 21 2026

What happens after the breakthrough, when you still have a life to live?

In this episode of The Sigma Femme Podcast, I’m joined by my longtime friend Andrea Shipley, LPC, for a conversation about spiritual awakening, identity and giving ourselves permission to keep changing.

Andrea consciously designed her life around flexibility: selling her house and converting a school bus into a home and office to building businesses and traveling widely.

We talk about what happens when even identities built around freedom stop fitting, and why spiritual growth sometimes asks us to release the labels we once worked hard to create.

    In This Episode

    * Spiritual awakening and integration

    * Identity shifts and shedding old labels

    * Freedom, flexibility and lifestyle design

    * Purpose and the pressure to define ourselves

    * Internal Family Systems

    * Intuition versus interpretation

    * Creating a life that can evolve

    About Andrea Shipley

Andrea is a Licensed Professional Counselor, coach and founder of Alive Explorations. She specializes in trauma recovery, nervous system regulation, lifestyle design and spiritual integration, helping people navigate identity shifts and existential transitions with grounded, evidence-based support.

  • Before We Judge | Season 2 Premiere | Ep. 18
    Oct 7 2026

In the Season 2 premiere of The Sigma Femme Podcast, I’m joined by trial lawyer, strategist and trauma-conscious advocate Charles Inch for a conversation about trauma, judgment and the human realities inside the justice system.

Drawing from nearly two decades in criminal and domestic law, Charlie shares what he has witnessed in courtrooms, jails and high-conflict family cases, including what prolonged fear, pressure and litigation stress do to clients, families and the attorneys working inside the system.

We also explore masculinity, emotional isolation and the assumptions we make about people when we see the event but not the context underneath it.

What changes when curiosity enters before judgment? What becomes possible when someone is regulated enough to make a conscious choice rather than react from fear, anger or pain?

Our conversation moves through trauma, nervous-system regulation, custody conflict, forgiveness, personal responsibility and the question of what each of us is willing to do once we recognize that something needs to change.

At the heart of the conversation is a deeper challenge: before we decide who someone is, can we become curious about what happened to them, what is happening inside them and what else may be shaping the field?

    In This Episode

    * Trauma and the human impact of the justice system

    * Litigation stress and nervous-system regulation

    * Curiosity as an alternative to assumption and judgment

    * Masculinity, vulnerability and emotional isolation

    * Parenthood, custody conflict and unresolved anger

    * Forgiveness and interrupting reactive patterns

    * Sovereignty, responsibility and conscious choice

    * Duty and doing what is ours to do

    * Synapse — a relationship-based networking organization Charlie and Sara both belong to

    About Charles Inch

Charles Inch is a trial lawyer, strategist and advocate working to make the law more useful, humane and effective for the people who have to live with its consequences. After beginning his career in criminal and domestic law, a serious personal crisis led him to examine how trauma, stress and pressure shape decision-making and how the legal profession itself affects the people inside it.

As founder of Inch Law, Charlie combines courtroom experience with a preventative, trauma-conscious approach designed to help clients navigate legal problems with greater clarity and fewer unnecessary costs, conflicts and emotional consequences. His work includes criminal and domestic defense, preventative legal check-ups, agreements and early legal guidance aimed at addressing problems before they escalate.

His larger mission is to rethink the role of law itself, not only as a tool for litigation but as a source of protection, preparation and greater peace of mind. Outside the courtroom, Charlie is a dog dad, educator, writer and intricate woodworker.

  • The Field Between Us: Season 2 Prologue | Ep. 17
    Sep 30 2026

Season 2 of The Sigma Femme Podcast begins with a question:

How do we become more conscious participants in what we’re creating?

In this prologue, Sara traces the questions that have followed her through years of work in conflict resolution, purpose, emotional mastery, masculine and feminine dynamics, manifestation, Family Constellations and organizational systems.

Across those different environments, the same themes kept surfacing: identity, belonging, power, inherited patterns, discernment, authenticity and the relationship between personal agency and the larger systems shaping our lives.

From those threads, she eventually created Relational Field Intelligence™, a framework for recognizing what is happening within us, between people and across larger systems so we can participate with greater clarity, sovereignty and conscious choice.

Season 2 will explore what happens when inner work meets the outside world, when our values encounter pressure, when belonging asks something of us and how our choices shape what becomes possible for everyone.

    In This Episode

    * The central question guiding Season 2: How do I want to participate in what is being created here?

    * The winding path that led me here

    * The connection between authenticity, power and agency

    * How both pattern recognition and discernment are central to influencing the relational field

  • The Body Knows the Way Home | Season 1 Finale | Ep. 16
    Sep 3 2026
The body often knows what the mind has not yet learned to name.In this episode of The Sigma Femme Podcast, I’m joined by licensed mental health therapist, intuitive spiritual coach and A Course in Miracles teacher Kel Lash for a conversation about embodiment, forgiveness and the wisdom available when we begin listening to the body instead of overriding it.Kel shares how discovering somatic therapy transformed both her personal healing and clinical practice, shifting her understanding of trauma, boundaries and emotional regulation. Rather than treating healing as something that happens primarily through insight, she explores how the body communicates through sensation, emotion and nervous system responses that often emerge before the mind has formed a story.Together, we discuss co-regulation, consent, platonic touch, community and the importance of relationships that allow us to feel safe enough to become fully ourselves. We also explore emotional sovereignty, self-forgiveness and why curiosity may be one of the most powerful pathways to compassion.Toward the end of the conversation, we examine the cultural conditioning that teaches us to disconnect from our bodies in the name of productivity, perfection and performance. Kel offers another possibility: reconnecting body, mind and spirit so that healing becomes less about fixing ourselves and more about remembering how to listen. In This Episode* Somatic therapy and learning to listen to the body’s signals* Nervous system regulation and co-regulation* Consent, platonic touch and recognizing our yeses and nos* Emotional sovereignty, boundaries and authentic relationship* Self-forgiveness and letting go of the meaning we attach to our experiences* Curiosity as a pathway to compassion* Why community is essential for healing* The relationship between body, mind and spirit* Cultural conditioning and the habit of overriding the body* A Course in Miracles and forgiveness as a spiritual practiceAbout Kel LashKel Lash, MS, LPC, LMHC, CLC (she/they), is a licensed mental health therapist, intuitive spiritual coach, minister and A Course in Miracles teacher whose work bridges somatic therapy, forgiveness and authentic relationship.Based in Gainesville, Florida, Kel offers virtual somatic therapy for Oregon residents, intuitive coaching, authentic relating retreats and workshops exploring embodiment, co-regulation, platonic touch and spiritual transformation. Her work invites people to move beyond fear and self-protection by reconnecting with the wisdom of the body, cultivating emotional sovereignty and experiencing forgiveness as a pathway to greater freedom and love.Website: https://manymiraclescoaching.comFollow Kel:Instagram: Many Miracles Coaching Facebook: Many Miracles CoachingYouTube: Many Miracles CoachingLinkedIn: Kel LashResourcesA Course in MiraclesA spiritual text that informs both Kel’s work and this conversation, particularly its teachings on forgiveness, perception, fear, love and the healing of relationships. The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel van der KolkA foundational book exploring the relationship between trauma, the nervous system and the body, including why healing often requires more than intellectual understanding.Nonviolent Communication by Marshall B. • Seeing Each Other Clearly: Masculine & Feminine Dynamics | Ep. 15
    Aug 19 2026
The way we experience another person is shaped by what we bring into the relationship. Our perceptions, assumptions, wounds, instincts and unconscious beliefs all influence what we think we see. The more conscious we become of those filters, the more accurately we can meet the person in front of us.In this episode of The Sigma Femme Podcast, I’m joined by author, educator and relationship expert Alison Armstrong for a conversation about masculine and feminine dynamics, perception, power, honor and the choices that shape our relationships.Alison explores how men and women can misread one another, how survival instincts and old wounds distort perception and why attempts to control another person pull us farther from genuine connection.Throughout the conversation, we keep returning to sovereignty.Knowing we have the power to choose is only the beginning. Alison takes that idea further when she asks:What if the first choice is to become the chooser? She describes “choosing to choose” as the movement out of unconscious compulsion and into conscious participation in our own lives. At its heart, this conversation is about seeing one another more clearly and becoming more conscious of how we choose to show up in relationship. When we stop reducing one another to labels, assumptions or projections, something different becomes possible: honor, partnership and the freedom to meet another person as they actually are.In This Episode* Why misperception can take us so far from the reality of another person* The queen on a chessboard as a profound example of feminine power* Why honor for the masculine means doing the right thing regardless of how you feel* The difference between having the power to choose and choosing to become the chooser* Why we may be listening to our own thoughts instead of the person speaking to us* How objectification can become an attempt to make another person manageable* Why Alison says, “Honor yourself first or all is lost. And then honor others.”ResourcesAlison’s website: https://www.alisonarmstrong.comThe Queen’s Code by Alison Armstrong: Alison’s bestselling book explores the misunderstandings that often arise between men and women and offers a framework for greater honor, understanding and partnership.LUX: Liberation, Understanding, Extraordinary RelationshipsNear the end of our conversation, Alison points listeners toward LUX while making one of the clearest statements of her philosophy: “Honor yourself first or all is lost. And then honor others.”Explore LUXMaking Magical Moments: Alison references Making Magical Moments near the end of our conversation as a resource about presence, availability and recognizing the moments of connection that become possible when we are truly present.Wolf’s Message by Suzanne Giesemann: Recommended by Alison early in the conversation, Wolf’s Message explores consciousness and the integration of masculine and feminine within ourselves.About Alison ArmstrongAlison Armstrong is an author, educator and internationally recognized expert on human behavior and relationships. • Beyond the Illusion of Separation | Ep. 14
    Aug 5 2026

After surviving a rare, life-threatening illness that led to multi-organ failure, speaker, energy healer and meditation teacher Monica Rao had a near-death experience that fundamentally changed how she understands consciousness, intuition and the nature of reality.

Monica describes experiencing unconditional love, profound connection and a reality where time, distance and separation no longer existed. Returning to her body became the beginning of another journey: living from the heart and trusting an inner wisdom that is available to everyone.

In this conversation, we talk about her near-death experience, meditation, intuition, destiny, creativity, surrender and … the illusion of separation.

We also examine how conditioning shapes our perception of reality, why life’s disruptions may become turning points and what it means to live from a deeper relationship with the divine.

At its heart, this conversation invites us to consider an important question:

What if healing is less about becoming someone new and instead about remembering who you have always been?

    In This Episode:

    * Experiencing unconditional love, timelessness and oneness

    * What it means to be in true union with the divine

  • The Sacred Work of Grief | Ep. 13
    Jul 22 2026

    Grief changes us.

It arrives through the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, the loss of a home, a career, a dream or a version of ourselves that no longer fits who we are becoming.

In this deeply personal conversation, Lydia Griffith returns to The Sigma Femme Podcast to explore the many faces of grief and the profound ways loss reshapes our inner world. Together, we discuss the impact of cumulative grief, the burden of carrying multiple losses over time and the ways grief can affect the nervous system, identity and sense of belonging.

We also explore motherhood, ancestral patterns, self-compassion, spiritual connection and the surprising ways grief can become a doorway into deeper self-awareness and healing.

Rather than treating grief as something to overcome, this conversation invites us to honor it as part of the human experience. Grief asks us to slow down, listen differently and discover who we are becoming on the other side of what has been lost.

Whether you are grieving a person, a relationship, a dream or a chapter of your life, this episode is a reminder that healing is not about moving on. It is about learning how to carry love in a new way.

    In This Episode

    * The many forms grief can take

    * Cumulative loss and traumatic grief load

    * How grief impacts the nervous system

    * The relationship between grief and identity

    * Motherhood, love and loss

    * Turning love inward as an act of healing

    * Ancestral grief and inherited emotional patterns

    * Signs, symbols and spiritual connection after loss

    * The role of ritual, ceremony and community in healing

    * Self-compassion during seasons of transition

    * Learning to live with grief rather than overcome it

  • The Courage to Soften | Ep. 12
    Jul 8 2026

What happens when the very strengths that once helped us survive begin keeping us from the love, support and connection we long for?

I first met Paola Tolvo in a bookstore after The Goddess Retreat® in Puerto Vallarta, where I led a workshop based on my book, Manifest Like a Goddess.

The discussion naturally shifted toward relationships, emotional safety and the ways many women have learned to lead from self-protection rather than trust. That moment became the beginning of a friendship and an ongoing dialogue that continues today.

Paola and I explore what happens when hyper-independence becomes more than a survival strategy and begins shaping our identity, relationships and nervous systems. We talk about the loneliness that can exist beneath competence, why vulnerability often feels threatening and how small shifts in the way we relate can transform our experience of intimacy.

Together, we explore attachment patterns, emotional safety, feminine essence, partnership and what it means to soften enough to receive the love, support and care we've been trying so hard to provide for ourselves.

Whether you’re healing old relationship patterns, feeling exhausted from carrying too much on your own, or longing for deeper connection, this conversation offers a thoughtful invitation to loosen the grip of self-protection and remember that strength and softness can coexist.

    In this episode:

    * Why hyper-independence often becomes an identity rather than simply a coping strategy

    * The loneliness that can exist beneath competence and self-reliance

    * The Puerto Vallarta workshop breakthrough moment where this conversation first began

    * The relationship between attachment, emotional safety and vulnerability

    * Why many women confuse control with safety and how that affects intimacy

    * The importance of sisterhood and being witnessed by other women

    * Paola’s signature frameworks: Let the Love Through, Deeply Simple and 2% More

    * Creating relationships rooted in honesty, repair and emotional intimacy

    About Paola Tolvo

Paola Tolvo is a relationship writer, coach and entrepreneur whose work explores modern love, emotional connection, feminine growth and the patterns that keep people emotionally disconnected, even inside relationships.

With a background in social work, coaching and business, she has spent years helping people navigate careers, parenting, relationships and major life transitions.

Her work is now focused on helping individuals recognize the patterns that block connection, learn how to shift them in real time and create relationships rooted in emotional safety, repair, honesty and deeper intimacy.
