Episode 16: Build a Business That Works for You

    Guest: Lu Castello (they/them)

In this powerful episode of The SJW Podcast, host Jasmine Cannon-Ikurusi sits down with Lu Castello (they/them)— a queer business consultant redefining what sustainable success really looks like.

With over a decade of experience in operations management, Lu now supports founders to build businesses that serve their lives, not consume them. Their work centres on helping entrepreneurs move away from burnout culture and towards values-led, wellbeing-focused growth that is both sustainable and impactful.

Together, Jasmine and Lu explore what it means to lead with authenticity, balance ambition with rest, and create systems that support long-term success without sacrificing mental health or identity.

What you’ll learn in this episode

    • How to align your business goals with your personal values
    • Practical ways to design systems that protect your wellbeing
