  • Master Your Breath, Master Your Life with Tabetha DeBruyn

    Your body has been keeping score and your breath is one of the fastest ways to change the signal. Lizzy sits down with Tabetha DeBruyn, a transformational breathmaster and one of the few certified 9D somatic breathwork practitioners in the world, to unpack why “just take a deep breath” is not fluff when you know how to do it with intention and timing. If you’ve been living in stress mode, cycling through anxiety, insomnia, or burnout, this is a grounded place to start.

    We talk through what’s actually happening in the nervous system during somatic breathwork, including why nasal breathing matters, how a longer exhale supports vagus nerve regulation, and why feeling safe in your body can bring your mind back online. Tabetha shares how regulation can shift you out of reaction and into a calmer, clearer state where decisions, boundaries, and relationships start to change without forcing it.

    Then we go deeper into what makes 9D breathwork different: immersive soundscapes, music, binaural beats, and hypnotic-style repetition designed to help quiet rumination and support subconscious reprogramming. Lizzy sits down with writer Prashanthi Amarnath, author of Embracing Paradox, to talk about Taoism, uncertainty, and the lived reality of becoming someone new while you are still carrying pieces of who you used to be.     Prashanthi shares her spiritual journey, including devotion, doubt, and the surprising relief of realizing that wandering is not a mistake.     Lizzy guides you through a calming grounding meditation built around breathwork, body awareness, and gentle nervous system support. You’ll settle into a comfortable position, soften the places that hold stress, and breathe through the heart center and belly to release pressure you may not even realize you’re carrying. From there, we move into a grounding visualization that helps you feel held by the earth, supported by gravity, and anchored in the present moment.
