  • When Comparison Distracts You From God’s Purpose
    Oct 12 2026

Have you ever looked at someone else’s life and wondered why yours looks so different?

Maybe they’re further along in their career, ministry, relationships, or personal goals. Or perhaps you’re facing circumstances you didn’t choose, and you’ve started questioning whether those circumstances are keeping you from fulfilling God’s purpose for your life.

Comparison doesn’t always look like jealousy. Sometimes it looks like discouragement, impatience, or the feeling that you’re falling behind.

In this episode of The Living Well, we explore five biblical ways to overcome comparison, redefine success, and refocus on what God has entrusted to you.

Through Scripture, we’ll discover why someone else’s journey was never meant to be the measurement of our own, how God can work through our limitations, and why faithfulness matters more than worldly accomplishments.

Because God never asked you to live someone else’s life. He called you to follow Him with yours.

    📖 Featured Scriptures: John 21:15–22 | 2 Corinthians 10:12–18 | Galatians 6:4–5 | 2 Corinthians 12:9

  • How to Overcome the Fear of Failure & Move Forward in Faith
    Oct 7 2026

What if the thing you’re calling a failure wasn’t actually the end of the story?

Fear of failure can keep us from applying, trying, starting, obeying, or even becoming beginners because we’re afraid of what will happen if things don’t work out. But sometimes the deeper fear isn’t failure at all; it’s what we’ve decided failure says about us.

In this episode of The Living Well, Tyra explores how to overcome the fear of failure and move forward in faith. We’ll talk about separating outcomes from identity, recognizing when fear is rooted in pride or insecurity, becoming teachable enough to learn from what didn’t work, and trusting God when the outcome looks different from what we expected.

Through the stories of Moses, David, and other biblical truths, we’ll also look at why faith doesn’t require certainty, how remembering God’s past faithfulness can disarm fear, and why a closed door isn’t always a failure, sometimes it’s refinement, protection, or redirection.

Hebrews 11:1 tells us that faith is “the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” When fear starts predicting everything that could go wrong, we can answer it with what we already know about God: His promises, His character, His Word, and His history of faithfulness.

  • Love Is More Than a Feeling: What Governs You When Your Feelings Pull Against God?
    Oct 5 2026

What happens when what you feel is pulling you in one direction, but the love of God is calling you in another?

In this episode of The Living Well, Tyra explores why biblical love is so much more than an emotion. Through the picture of a house, the simple example of stopping at a red light, and the biblical definition of love in 1 Corinthians 13, we unpack what it means to let love govern us; even when anger, hurt, disappointment, fear, or grief are present.

We’ll talk about the difference between feelings and biblical love, what “charity” and agape love mean in 1 Corinthians 13, why the strength of a feeling does not determine its authority, and how love should shape our marriages, friendships, parenting, boundaries, and relationships with others.

Most importantly, we’ll look at what happens when we begin measuring God’s love by how our circumstances make us feel.

God doesn’t become love when you feel loved. God is love.

Listen, breathe, and come back to the well.
