I can see God’s hand all over my life. I know He’s carried me, protected me, and answered prayers I probably forgot I even prayed. But there are still parts of my life where I’m like… God, hello? It’s your girl. You see me over here, right?

This episode is about that uncomfortable middle being grateful while still wanting more, having faith while still having questions, wanting love and family, and figuring out what I truly believe as my spiritual journey continues to evolve.

Depression doesn’t always look like falling apart.

Sometimes you’re still going to work, taking care of everybody, laughing with your friends, handling business… and quietly struggling at the same time.

In this episode of The Lex Effect, I’m opening up about my own experience with depression, what high-functioning depression can look like, and the reality of trying to keep showing up when mentally, you’re tired.

This isn’t a clinical conversation it’s a real one. No pretending. No perfect answers. Just vulnerability, reflection, and a reminder that sometimes the strongest-looking person in the room needs support too.

September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, and my hope is that this conversation helps us become more intentional about checking on ourselves and the people we love.
