In Season 6 we have all the professionals! And for Episode 5 we are joined by Dr Jessica Taylor, LIVE FROM THE LAB! Talking all things Cancer Research, childhood brain tumours and an unexpected science career!

Dr Jessica Taylor is a researcher in Professor Richard Gilbertson’s lab at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute, specialising in childhood brain cancer. Jessica is also a current (2026) Future Leader at The Brain Tumour Charity.

Jessica is the Training Lead for the Brain Cancer Virtual at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Centre and a member of the Cancer Research UK Children's Brain Tumour Centre of Excellence.

A new one for us, LIVE from the lab, but important for patients and families to understand what is exactly happening and where people's fundraising money goes to. We don’t hear it much, so The GlioBabes went on a mission to find it! Thank you to Jessica and CRUK for having us for the day.
