  • The Endzone Club Podcast | JoAnn Rosario: Faith, Purpose & The Journey Behind the Voice
    Oct 12 2026
What happens when God calls you beyond the platform and into your purpose?

On this episode of The Endzone Club Podcast, host Anthony Mitchell sits down with internationally recognized gospel recording artist, worship leader, songwriter, author, and pastor JoAnn Rosario for a powerful conversation about faith, purpose, perseverance, and the journey behind the voice.

Known for her contributions to contemporary gospel music, including her work with Fred Hammond and Radical for Christ, JoAnn has experienced the highs of the music industry and the challenges that come with walking out God's calling. Today, she serves as the lead pastor of Maranatha Life Church, where her passion for ministry centers on helping people develop a deeper relationship with God.

In this candid conversation, we explore the experiences that have shaped her journey, the lessons learned through seasons of change, the relationship between personal pain and spiritual growth, and what it means to embrace purpose beyond public recognition.

This episode reminds us that our identity is bigger than our accomplishments, our calling extends beyond our talents, and sometimes the greatest work God does in us happens away from the spotlight.

  • When the Experience doesn't match the Advertisement
    Sep 19 2026
Today’s episode begins with a story from my early days of wanting to get into ministry. Like many people starting something new, I began watching successful ministry leaders, studying what they were doing, and trying to glean the things that made their ministries effective.

That journey eventually led me to a church in Atlanta that was extremely well-marketed. What I saw advertised looked incredible, so I decided to visit. But when I got there, the actual experience was completely different from what had been presented. It wasn’t a positive experience—but it taught me a lesson I’ve carried with me ever since:

What you present should match what people experience.

Whether you’re building a ministry, nonprofit, business, organization, or personal brand, there are three things you should always incorporate into what you’re doing:

    1. Make sure the experience matches the presentation.
Don’t advertise one thing and deliver another. Your message, branding, and presentation should accurately represent what people will experience when they connect with you.

    2. Communicate your vision clearly.
Having a great vision means very little if you can’t communicate it. People need to understand who you are, what you’re doing, why you’re doing it, and how they can be a part of it.

    3. Serve your community.
At the end of the day, what we do should make a difference beyond ourselves. Community service gives your vision an opportunity to become something tangible that people can see, experience, and benefit from.

This episode is a reminder that presentation may attract people, but the experience is what tells them whether your message is real.
