For the first time ever online I share my story, the story of my repressed trauma that has shaped me in so many ways into the woman that I have been, am, and am becoming. For years I have felt afraid of sharing my story, my body's truth, publicly online because I am deeply afraid that my family will disown me and abandon me for sharing my truth. This episode is me giving them the middle finger with all of the love in my heart, because in my family, the middle finger is how we say "I love you" and I do love them. Deeply, whole heartedly, and I also love myself. I refuse to hold myself back any longer because of this fear. Another solo episode, this one is really close to my heart and touches deeper on a previous episode "For the Love of Being Selfish" .

I talk about why we've been conditioned to put other's needs before out own which then compounds over-time and signals to our bodies, body/mind, and all parts of ourselves that we aren't worth loving and our needs don't matter.

They even shadow-banned the #selflove on IG for a while, I mean come on!

The truth is, we have to love our selves before we can love anyone or anything else. As within so without. When we aren't loving ourselves and filling ourselves up we are constantly giving from a depleted cup and it is felt, it becomes inauthentic and further breeds resentment!

Authenticity is the lived felt-sense of our truth from a space of embodied presence. Where we stay true to and live from the truth that is within us rather than the should's from the world, people, and society around us that we've been conditioned to believe we "should" behave like.

Dropping the masks and false identities for a life lived from authenticity is the most potent way to move through this human experience!!

That being said, I also discuss why I don't buy into the Goddess Culture, why it feels inauthentic and superficial to me, they why behind it as a method of spiritually bypassing our deep sisterhood wounds and also distracting and avoiding true depth and connection with the people and women around us.
