    This past March I sat down with my dear friend, Heidi Jamila,in my campsite at Suwannee Spring Reunion at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida, the same festival where we met more than a decade ago. We became fast friends, she eventually moved to the Florida Panhandle where we ended up in a band called Sweater Puppets together and then she got a day job she relocated to Europe. She now resides in Germany but often makes the grand pilgrimage to what she calls her home festival. Heidi shares about the diverse bluegrass festivals happening in the European scene. If you’re thinking of traveling abroad and want to find out where to find Bluegrass gatherings than this episode is for you.
