On our 8th Episode of Sunday Diaries, we tried to improvise on an evergreen classic song, "Eto Chawa Niye Kotha Jai" (Dishehara Je Mor Mon), a trans-creation of the song 'I can't help but wonder where i'm bound' by Tom Paxton. We feel that the lyrics in Bangla has truly created this song to be a beautiful song by itself and is not a translation of the original. This is an original song influenced by the Tom Paxton song. Our rendition has influences from the Mohiner Ghoraguli Compilation album (Maya), Arunendu Das's original and we fused another one of the most popular Irish traditional song, Whiskey in The Jar. Hope the magic of these two diverse songs will take you to walk down the memory lane and charm you with nostalgia.

Today's episode is dedicated to the rich folk culture of Bengal. We tried to blend two folk songs with our acoustic arrangement with zeal. Our first song Mojar Manush (মজার মানুষ) written by Anusheh Anadil for the lust section of the Saints of Sin। and our second song is traditional bengali folk song, Tomar Ghore Bosot Kore Koyjona (তোমার ঘরে বসত করে কয়জনা). In the fourth episode of Sunday Diaries, we tried infuse one of this most memorable and popular traditional songs from Goalpara, Assam and the song 'Fakiri' which is neither betwixt nor between, but inspired by both Kabir’s life and his poetry, ‘Lago Mere Yaar Fakiri’, which is about letting go. Altogether they create a different kind of magic and energy.  In the deepest of our heart we believe the music is an universal language and only music can make the world a better place.
