In a show that digs deeper on ageism and ambition, Nicky shares how "fashion saves me every day" , speaks about her early dreams of being a hairdresser herself, and confesses to having recently tried Botox for the first time.

Sharing her pearls and rubies of wisdom from the salon chair, world-famous make-up artist and beautician Ruby Hammer OBE reflects on family memories in Nigeria, building the make-up brand Ruby and Millie, the importance of 'making the effort' for yourself, and washing your face properly whilst you're still awake enough to do so!
In an episode that sees Andrew get his very own makeover -complete with Ruby's mascara - we see the Split Ends salon magic happen and hear some incredible wisdom from someone who knows her beauty and wellbeing inside out.

We join big_fat_Greek mother’s mother, and meet Olga’s mum Helen Michael in her home salon.

Andrew sets Helen’s hair in rollers as we hear the hilarious hairstories and affairs, parrots and perms of El Greco salon.

Learning her trade from age 15 as one of nine children, Helen had her own little salon in Paphos in Greece, and has had some loyal customers for over 50 years!

Olga opens up about growing up in the salon and finding the characters we now see in her standup routine.
