  • Can You Actually Handle Correction? | Biblical Correction Pt. 2
    Aug 19 2026

Can you actually handle being told you’re wrong?

It’s easy to say we’re open to correction…until someone points out something about us that we don’t want to hear.

In Part 2 of our conversation on biblical correction, we turn the conversation inward. Instead of focusing on how other people correct us, we’re asking a harder question: How do we become people who can actually receive correction well?

We talk about defensiveness, pride, self-awareness, humility, and why spiritual maturity requires us to admit that sometimes…we’re just wrong.

Correction doesn’t automatically mean rejection, condemnation, or control. Sometimes the person willing to have an uncomfortable conversation with you is showing you just how much they care.

If every time someone corrects you, your immediate response is to defend yourself, explain yourself, or decide they’re the problem…it might be worth asking: Am I actually teachable?

And sometimes, sis… you might just need to “suck it up, buttercup” and grow up. 😂

Listen to Part 1 of our conversation on correction to hear why receiving correction has become so difficult, and how we can correct others in a way they can actually receive.

  • Why Can’t We Handle Correction Anymore? | Biblical Correction Pt. 1
    Aug 12 2026

Why is it so hard to receive correction?

We live in a culture where affirmation is everywhere, offense comes quickly, and being told “you’re wrong” can feel like a personal attack. But if we never learn how to receive correction, we may also miss opportunities to grow.

In Part 1 of this two-part conversation, we talk about why so many people struggle with correction today and how our upbringing, pride, social media, and a culture of constant affirmation may have contributed to it.

But correction isn’t only about the person receiving it. How we give correction matters too.

We talk through how to approach someone with the right heart, why relationship and timing matter, when correction needs to happen whether someone wants to hear it or not, and how to communicate clearly without intentionally provoking or tearing someone down.

And sometimes, sis… you really do need to be corrected. 😬

  • This Is Why Your Faith Isn't Transforming You
    Aug 5 2026

Can someone accept Jesus as Savior but never truly surrender to Him as Lord? It's a question many Christians never stop to ask.

In this episode of Seriously, Sis Podcast, we unpack one of Jesus' most sobering warnings found in Matthew 7:21-23 and explore what it really means to follow Him - not just for salvation, but for transformation.

Because if we're honest, many of us have invited Jesus to save us while still keeping certain areas of our lives off limits. We let Him be Lord over our Sundays, but not our relationships. Our church attendance, but not our pride. Our words, but not our finances. Our worship, but not our obedience. Even mature believers can slowly drift into selective surrender.

This conversation isn't about condemnation. It's an invitation to ask a difficult but necessary question: Is Jesus truly Lord over every part of my life?

  • Boundaries or Walls? There's a BIG Difference
    Jul 22 2026

Everyone is talking about boundaries - but are we talking about them biblically?

The word boundaries has become one of the most common pieces of advice in modern culture. But is every boundary healthy? Are boundaries necessary and could some "boundaries" actually become walls that keep us from accountability, forgiveness, and genuine relationships?

In this conversation, we dig into Scripture to separate biblical wisdom from modern self-help. Looking at John 2:23-25, Matthew 10:37-39, Luke 14:26, and Genesis 2:24, we explore how Jesus modeled healthy relational wisdom without isolating Himself from the people He came to save.

    We'll discuss:

Why Jesus didn't trust everyone - but still loved everyone.
The difference between protecting your heart and hardening it.
    When boundaries honor God.
When they become an excuse to avoid difficult conversations.
How to recognize the difference between wisdom and self-protection.

    Scriptures Discussed
    📖 John 2:23-25
    📖 Matthew 10:37-39
    📖 Luke 14:26
    📖 Genesis 2:24

  • Still Single? | Here's What People Won't Say Out Loud
    Jul 8 2026

    "Why am I still single?"

It's one of the most common - and most painful - questions single Christian women ask.

But what if the answer isn't just "wait on God's timing"?

In this episode of Seriously, Sis Podcast, we're having an honest conversation about the real reasons someone may still be single. Some are practical. Some are spiritual. And sometimes...God is doing far more behind the scenes than we realize.

We discuss everything from unrealistic expectations and personal growth to the possibility that God is protecting you from relationships you aren't meant to enter.

    This isn't about blaming singles.

It's about asking honest questions, pursuing biblical wisdom, and trusting God's purpose, whether He calls you into marriage tomorrow or years from now.

  • You're Asking the Wrong Question About Your Calling
    Jul 1 2026

Have you ever wondered, "What is my purpose?"

    Maybe that's the wrong question.

In this episode of Seriously, Sis Podcast, we unpack what the Bible actually says about purpose, calling, and God's will. While every believer shares the same ultimate purpose - to know Christ and make Him known - the way we live that out looks different in every season of life.

Some people seem to know their calling from a young age. Others spend decades wondering where God is leading them. But whether your next step feels crystal clear or completely uncertain, one thing remains true: God is looking for hearts that are willing to obey Him wherever He leads.

    In this episode, we discuss:

The difference between purpose and calling
Why comparing your journey to others is dangerous
What to do if you don't know your calling
Why obedience matters more than certainty
How God often changes our assignments through different seasons
Living faithfully before you have all the answers

It’s a topic that makes a lot of people uncomfortable, but it’s one we think Christians need to talk about.

In this episode of Seriously, Sis Podcast, we discuss modesty, culture, and why conversations around biblical standards often create such strong reactions. • Your Father Shaped More Than You Realize
    Jun 18 2026

Fatherhood is not about perfection. It is about presence, humility, responsibility, love, discipline, and a willingness to grow.

In this Father’s Day episode of Seriously, Sis, Julia and Madison are joined by Mike for a heartfelt conversation about godly fatherhood, strong male leadership, and the weight fathers carry in the home.

Mike shares openly about growing up without knowing his biological father, how that shaped his early years as a parent, and how obedience to Christ changed the way he leads, loves, disciplines, and shows up for his family.

Together, we talk about how fathers shape a child’s understanding of safety, identity, discipline, relationships, and even how they view God as Father. We also discuss the value of spiritual fathers, the difference between mothers and fathers, and why a father’s family is his first ministry.

This episode is an encouragement and a challenge: fathers matter deeply, their sacrifices should not go unnoticed, and their legacy has the power to shape generations.

    In this episode, we discuss:
    What biblical fatherhood looks like
How fathers shape a child’s identity and view of God
Why presence matters more than perfection
    Healing from father wounds
    The importance of spiritual fathers
Why a man’s family is his first ministry
How fathers can lead with humility, honesty, and love
