Seriously, Sis is a real and raw conversation between two Christian women navigating life from different seasons—one single, one married with kids—but united in faith. We tackle everything from relationships and calling to doubt and discipleship, all with honesty, humor, and a heart for Jesus. This is the space where faith meets real life—no filters, just truth.

  • Christian “Would You Rather?”… These Questions Got WAY Too Real
    Aug 26 2026

Would you rather hear “God told me you’re my wife” on the FIRST DATE… or spend six months with a guy who’s still “seeing where God leads”? 😬

    Yeah. We went there.

After a few heavier conversations, we decided it was time to have some fun. So this week on Seriously, Sis, we’re playing “Would You Rather?” and somehow a ridiculous game turned into some very real conversations about dating, friendships, obedience, compromise, church life, worship, and following God when people don’t understand you.

Some of the choices are completely unserious. Others got surprisingly deep.

It’s lighter than our usual conversations, but we’re still Seriously, Sis — so even when we’re laughing, Scripture and our relationship with Christ are going to make their way into the conversation.

Because sometimes a silly question tells you a lot about what you actually believe.

  • Can You Actually Handle Correction? | Biblical Correction Pt. 2
    Aug 19 2026

Can you actually handle being told you’re wrong?

It’s easy to say we’re open to correction…until someone points out something about us that we don’t want to hear.

In Part 2 of our conversation on biblical correction, we turn the conversation inward. Instead of focusing on how other people correct us, we’re asking a harder question: How do we become people who can actually receive correction well?

We talk about defensiveness, pride, self-awareness, humility, and why spiritual maturity requires us to admit that sometimes…we’re just wrong.

Correction doesn’t automatically mean rejection, condemnation, or control. Sometimes the person willing to have an uncomfortable conversation with you is showing you just how much they care.

If every time someone corrects you, your immediate response is to defend yourself, explain yourself, or decide they’re the problem…it might be worth asking: Am I actually teachable?

And sometimes, sis… you might just need to “suck it up, buttercup” and grow up. 😂

Listen to Part 1 of our conversation on correction to hear why receiving correction has become so difficult, and how we can correct others in a way they can actually receive.

  • Why Can’t We Handle Correction Anymore? | Biblical Correction Pt. 1
    Aug 12 2026

Why is it so hard to receive correction?

We live in a culture where affirmation is everywhere, offense comes quickly, and being told “you’re wrong” can feel like a personal attack. But if we never learn how to receive correction, we may also miss opportunities to grow.

In Part 1 of this two-part conversation, we talk about why so many people struggle with correction today and how our upbringing, pride, social media, and a culture of constant affirmation may have contributed to it.

But correction isn’t only about the person receiving it. How we give correction matters too.

We talk through how to approach someone with the right heart, why relationship and timing matter, when correction needs to happen whether someone wants to hear it or not, and how to communicate clearly without intentionally provoking or tearing someone down.

And sometimes, sis… you really do need to be corrected. 😬
