Seriously, Sis is a real and raw conversation between two Christian women navigating life from different seasons—one single, one married with kids—but united in faith. We tackle everything from relationships and calling to doubt and discipleship, all with honesty, humor, and a heart for Jesus. This is the space where faith meets real life—no filters, just truth.

  • Why Can’t We Handle Correction Anymore? | Biblical Correction Pt. 1
    Aug 12 2026

Why is it so hard to receive correction?

We live in a culture where affirmation is everywhere, offense comes quickly, and being told “you’re wrong” can feel like a personal attack. But if we never learn how to receive correction, we may also miss opportunities to grow.

In Part 1 of this two-part conversation, we talk about why so many people struggle with correction today and how our upbringing, pride, social media, and a culture of constant affirmation may have contributed to it.

But correction isn’t only about the person receiving it. How we give correction matters too.

We talk through how to approach someone with the right heart, why relationship and timing matter, when correction needs to happen whether someone wants to hear it or not, and how to communicate clearly without intentionally provoking or tearing someone down.

And sometimes, sis… you really do need to be corrected. 😬

  • This Is Why Your Faith Isn't Transforming You
    Aug 5 2026

Can someone accept Jesus as Savior but never truly surrender to Him as Lord? It's a question many Christians never stop to ask.

In this episode of Seriously, Sis Podcast, we unpack one of Jesus' most sobering warnings found in Matthew 7:21-23 and explore what it really means to follow Him - not just for salvation, but for transformation.

Because if we're honest, many of us have invited Jesus to save us while still keeping certain areas of our lives off limits. We let Him be Lord over our Sundays, but not our relationships. Our church attendance, but not our pride. Our words, but not our finances. Our worship, but not our obedience. Even mature believers can slowly drift into selective surrender.

This conversation isn't about condemnation. It's an invitation to ask a difficult but necessary question: Is Jesus truly Lord over every part of my life?

  • Boundaries or Walls? There's a BIG Difference
    Jul 22 2026

Everyone is talking about boundaries - but are we talking about them biblically?

The word boundaries has become one of the most common pieces of advice in modern culture. But is every boundary healthy? Are boundaries necessary and could some "boundaries" actually become walls that keep us from accountability, forgiveness, and genuine relationships?

In this conversation, we dig into Scripture to separate biblical wisdom from modern self-help. Looking at John 2:23-25, Matthew 10:37-39, Luke 14:26, and Genesis 2:24, we explore how Jesus modeled healthy relational wisdom without isolating Himself from the people He came to save.

    We'll discuss:

Why Jesus didn't trust everyone - but still loved everyone.
The difference between protecting your heart and hardening it.
    When boundaries honor God.
When they become an excuse to avoid difficult conversations.
How to recognize the difference between wisdom and self-protection.
