  • How to Break the Overthinking Loop: 3 Tools That Help | Pandora Morris
    Nov 8 2026

Why does overthinking feel like it’s solving a problem, when all it really does is send you round in circles?

I’ve lived with OCD my whole life, which makes me an expert overthinker. For four years I’ve had the privilege of talking to experts about it on this show, and in this solo episode I’m sharing three tools they’ve taught me that actually help.I also tell you about the night a lovely evening with a friend turned into a full doom spiral on my way to the tube, and the message that proved my brain completely wrong. If you’ve ever stared at two blue ticks waiting for a reply, or replayed a conversation over and over, this one’s for you. You can’t think your way out of a thinking problem. The goal isn’t to stop thethoughts. It’s to stop feeding them.

    In this episode, you’ll learn:

    Nov 3 2026

What is dissociative identity disorder, and what does it actually feel like to live with?On this episode of Seen, I sit down with psychotherapist Sally Maslansky, author of the memoir A Brilliant Adaptation. Sally was 37 when she was diagnosed with DID, which was still called multiple personality disorder back then.We also discussed the difference between everyday dissociation and DID, why so many therapists still tell clients they cannot work with them if they dissociate in session, what Sally found when she finally looked at the DID conversation on TikTok and Instagram, and the day she drove past the house she grew up in and felt nothing but joy.In this episode, you'll learn:- What dissociative identity disorder is, and how it differs from the dissociation most of us experience- Why amnesia and losing time are often the clearest signs, not separate identities living separate lives- What disorganised attachment is, and why Sally calls DID a brilliant adaptation rather than a disorder- What helped Sally most in therapy, and where to start if you think you might have DIDAbout Sally Maslansky:Sally Maslansky is a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) based in North Carolina and the author of A Brilliant Adaptation: How Dissociative Identity Disorder and the Power of the Therapeutic Bond Saved Me (New Harbinger, 2026). She was diagnosed at 37 with what was then called multiple personality disorder, and she worked with Dr Siegel for ten years. She went on to train as a therapist and works with adults and adoptive families. • Intrusive Thoughts? 3 Tools From 25 Years With OCD | Pandora Morris
    Oct 25 2026

Do you ever get stuck in a spiral of intrusive thoughts and can’t step away from them, even when you know they aren’t true?

In this solo episode of Seen, I’m sharing what more than 25 years of living with severe OCD has taught me about handling intrusive thoughts. I’m not a therapist, and I’m not claiming to be an expert. These are the tools that have helped me most, and I hope they help you too.

Almost everyone has intrusive thoughts, whether or not they have OCD. The thoughts themselves aren’t the problem. What matters is what we do with them. I talk openly about my own experience: the bedtime prayers I felt I had to repeat for hours as a child, the fear that I’d done something terrible, the contamination fears, and the all-or-nothing thoughts I still have around food and exercise.

  • Overwhelmed By Life? Start By Doing Less, Not More | Seen Session: Toni Tone
    Oct 22 2026

Where do you start when life feels like too much?

On this bonus episode of Seen, I'm joined again by Toni Tone, author of Soft Life. We pick up where our main conversation left off, with the small, practical shifts that make life feel a little more gentle.

Toni shares why she'd start with what you can control and what you can stop doing, not with something new. We talk about why rest doesn't have to be earned, why sitting still can feel so uncomfortable, and the phone boundary most of us need. She also gives me a brilliant question for telling a real want from a "should".

    In this episode, you'll learn:

    - Where to start when you feel overwhelmed, and why stopping is easier than starting

    - Why rest doesn't have to be earned, and why resting can feel so uncomfortable

    - The one question that shows whether you really want something, or just feel you should

    - Simple ways to make your life 10% softer this week, from sleep to time with friends
