This week, Harrison and EK are back with another episode discussing Pokémon as a franchise after watching the 2019 masterpiece Pokémon Detective Pikachu for the fortieth week of 2026. This episode, they analyze what little is known about the upcoming Winds and Waves video games as well as give their predictions for the upcoming tenth generation of the franchise. This is a less Detective Pikachu centric episode, but there is still plenty of discussion of the future for the films and games.

This week, the Poole brothers are joined by a very special guest, Harrison's partner Geneva! The three of them (along with their dog Lillia) sit down on a couch in a family basement to watch along and give their live thoughts while 2019's Pokémon Detective Pikachu literally plays in front of them. The following is a best of clip show of that viewing. While Harrison and E.K. are still going mad, having someone to keep them sane and on track is a much appreciated change of pace (and Lillia's zoomies and occasional snorts are an added bonus).

This week is a listener suggested episode where Harrison's high school friend asked the brothers to go even wider in scope and examine Detective Pikachu through the lens of other Pokémon fan created media. They break down Nuzlockes, various fan games, and speedrunning and try to relate it all to the 2019 masterpiece and its 2016 video game counterpart. It's a bit of a looser episode though just as celebratory as the rest as the two brothers are delving into madness watching the same movie every week.
