Welcome to our Lent Series on Courage. Over the 6 weeks we are going to explore different aspects of courage.

Today we are thinking about the courage to be vulnerable. Focussing on the temptations of Jesus alongside all that he gave up being one of us we will be following Philippians 2:6-9 and Luke 4: 1-13, whilst also holding onto 2 Corinthians 12: 9-10 and John 11:33-35.

We would like to acknowledge that we are commenting on Brene Brown’s book Dare to Lead who writes about vulnerability and I have read and listened to her work. Alongside this Graham Tomlin’s book Looking through the Cross has influenced thoughts here as well.

Welcome to this week's edition of the Rev Sarah Shares. Contemplating focusing on the local having learnt from my time as an AT. Still have a couple of years to go but weirdly excited at the thought of taking a sabbatical from regional and national responsibilities.

The last one in our Building the Body series considering the challenges of engaging with new. Sometimes new is like trying to break in new shoes. Sometimes new is hard to imagine because the sky is blue and the grass is green and church is well church.
