  • 3 Biblical Steps for Getting Through Depression | Ep. 20
    Sep 28 2026

How do you get through depression when you love God but still feel empty? When depression makes even the smallest things feel overwhelming, healing can seem impossible.

In the final episode of our depression series, we share three practical, biblical steps for walking through depression and moving toward hope, healing, and peace. Instead of waiting for one big breakthrough, we focus on small, consistent steps you can take even when you don’t feel strong.

First, we talk about renewing your mind with Scripture and using Romans 12:2 to challenge the negative thoughts depression can make feel true. Then we look at the importance of Christian community and Galatians 6:2, especially when depression makes you want to isolate and carry everything alone.

Finally, we talk about taking small daily steps forward and the encouragement found in Psalm 34:18. Sometimes progress looks like getting out of bed, taking a walk, praying, opening your Bible, reaching out to someone you trust, or simply deciding not to give up today.

If you’re a Christian struggling with depression and wondering what practical steps you can take, this episode offers a biblical starting point for moving forward one day at a time.

  • Why Do I Feel So Lonely? Finding God in Lonely Seasons | Ep. 19
    Sep 21 2026

Why do I feel so lonely, even when I’m not alone? Loneliness can hit especially hard during depression, grief, disappointment, major life changes, or seasons when you feel disconnected from God and the people around you.

In this episode, we talk about how to deal with loneliness from a biblical perspective and why feeling lonely doesn’t always mean you are truly alone. We explore the connection between depression and loneliness, the temptation to isolate when you’re hurting, and how your emotions can influence what you believe about yourself, others, and God.

Through Psalm 27:10, Jesus’ experience in the Garden of Gethsemane, and the promise of Hebrews 13:5, we look at what the Bible says about loneliness and God’s presence when you feel abandoned, rejected, or unseen.

We also walk through practical ways to handle loneliness as a Christian: talking honestly with God, spending time in prayer and Scripture, resisting isolation, and staying connected to trusted friends, mentors, and Christian community.

Loneliness may describe what you’re feeling in this season, but it doesn’t have to define who you are.

  • Can Christians Be Depressed? 3 Myths About Faith & Depression | Ep. 18
    Sep 14 2026

Can Christians be depressed and still have strong faith? Depression is often misunderstood in Christian communities, leaving people struggling not only with their mental health but also with guilt, shame, and questions about their relationship with God.

In this episode, Coach Tony breaks down three common misconceptions about depression and Christianity. We challenge the belief that having more faith will automatically make depression disappear, that depression is a sign of weakness, and that Christians should never experience depression in the first place.

We explore how depression can involve emotional pain, psychological stress, physical factors, and spiritual struggles—and why trusting God while you’re hurting can itself be an expression of faith.

We also look at Elijah, Job, and Jesus in Gethsemane to understand what the Bible shows us about deep sorrow, suffering, and faith. Experiencing depression does not automatically mean you’ve failed spiritually or that your faith isn’t strong enough.

If you’ve ever wondered what the Bible says about depression, whether Christians can struggle with depression, or how faith and mental health can exist together, this conversation offers a biblical perspective without ignoring the reality of what you’re experiencing.
