How do you get through depression when you love God but still feel empty? When depression makes even the smallest things feel overwhelming, healing can seem impossible.
In the final episode of our depression series, we share three practical, biblical steps for walking through depression and moving toward hope, healing, and peace. Instead of waiting for one big breakthrough, we focus on small, consistent steps you can take even when you don’t feel strong.
First, we talk about renewing your mind with Scripture and using Romans 12:2 to challenge the negative thoughts depression can make feel true. Then we look at the importance of Christian community and Galatians 6:2, especially when depression makes you want to isolate and carry everything alone.
Finally, we talk about taking small daily steps forward and the encouragement found in Psalm 34:18. Sometimes progress looks like getting out of bed, taking a walk, praying, opening your Bible, reaching out to someone you trust, or simply deciding not to give up today.
If you’re a Christian struggling with depression and wondering what practical steps you can take, this episode offers a biblical starting point for moving forward one day at a time.
