    Sep 9 2026

Welcome back to the mausoleum, boils and ghouls! This week, we're digging up two tales of hidden identities, dark family ties, and sinister secrets—whether that means being literally joined at the hip with a brother you despise, or discovering that your newly adopted parents are harbouring a blood-curdling truth behind closed doors.

Also, our podcasting worlds collide this week, as "The Secret" involves vampires (shhhh)... so, check out this week's bonus episode of Vampire Videos. It has an alternative, longer version of that half of the discussion, involving our 'vampire power ranking'...

    ~ [ 00:39:20 ] "The Secret"

Orphaned boy Theodore (Mike Simmrin) thinks his luck has finally turned around when he is adopted by a wealthy, seemingly charming couple, Mr. and Mrs. Colbert (William Frankfather & Grace Zabriskie). However, living in their opulent mansion soon reveals bizarre house rules and eerie nocturnal habits, leaving Theodore to realise his new benefactors are keeping a deeply horrifying secret.
