  • We're Tired, We're Delusional, and We Have Questions
    Oct 22 2026

Life has been a little crazy lately, and honestly, so are we!

In this episode of Real as Possible, Nicole and Ashley catch up on everything from the emotional highs and lows of life to the incredible things happening with Jeremiah Shumaker and Skylar's journey.

What starts as a simple life update quickly turns into hilarious conversations about childhood fears of aliens, exploring the ocean, being left-handed, questionable memories of ice sculptures, and whether either of us actually knows how to make a proper cup of tea.

We also get a little real about grief, exhaustion, stepping outside our comfort zones, and learning to appreciate the people doing amazing things around us.

It's a little emotional, a lot ridiculous, and exactly what happens when two sisters sit down without much of a plan.

Thanks for hanging out with us! Don't forget to like, subscribe, and share Real as Possible with someone who could use a laugh.

  • Where Were You on 9/11? | 25 Years Later, We Still Remember
    Sep 11 2026

25 years later, we still remember exactly where we were on September 11, 2001.

In this episode of Real as Possible, Nicole and Ashley look back on their own memories of 9/11, what it felt like to experience that day as teenagers, and how it changed the way they saw the world. They also talk about visiting the 9/11 Memorial, the stories of victims and first responders, and the countless ways that day continued to affect people long after September 11th was over.

But this conversation isn't only about remembering the tragedy. It's also about remembering what happened afterward—the courage, sacrifice, compassion, and unity that brought people together.

25 years later, maybe "Never Forget" means remembering that part, too.

We'd love to hear your story: Where were you on 9/11, and what do you remember most about that day?

Thanks for listening to Real as Possible.

  • Can You Trust Church Leaders Again?
    Aug 6 2026

What started as another random conversation about beets, Summerfest, Fourth of July adventures, and Alex Warren somehow turned into one of our most honest discussions yet.

In this episode, we talk about what it looks like to keep pursuing Jesus after experiencing church hurt. We discuss the struggle of trusting spiritual leaders again, asking hard questions, raising kids in faith when you're still learning yourself, and why humility matters so much in Christian leadership.

Along the way, we also share stories from our Fourth of July celebrations, a trip back to Nebraska, Ashley's unforgettable Alex Warren concert experience, and the moments that made us laugh until our faces were "beet red."

Whether you're navigating faith, processing disappointment, or just looking for a real conversation with plenty of laughs mixed in, we hope this episode encourages you.
