It's not often you get to speak to a real power (not power metal) couple in metal, and I'm lucky I got to speak to one of the nicest couples in the game, with Justine Jones and Sammy Urwin of UK metalcore favorites Employed to Serve and creators and owners of the legendary label Church Road Records appearing on this episode of Psychic Warfare!

Employed to Serve often write about life's progression; moving forward and living in the present by doing, acting, and daring to push yourself to your goals and dreams. We speak about them taking the time to really sit with that spirituality, as well as how they've come to understand and internalize what love is to them after nearly two decades together as a couple. We (mostly I) also gush about our love of Buffy the Vampire Slayer to each other, and so much more! So come on in and enjoy a wonderful conversation with two of the nicest people in metal, and for the love of God please watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Please.

Employed to Serve's latest single "A Moment Gone Too Soon" is out now on Church Road Records. Find it wherever you stream music.

A living legend like Sevendust's Lajon Witherspoon doesn't go through a storied career as the vocalist of one of the most seminal and explosively talented Nu-Metal bands of all time without making a few friends, and as he joins me on Psychic Warfare, we explore the inside scoop of how we can all be friends on this planet, and, more importantly, how we can all be HIS friend. If you've ever wanted to befriend one of the GOATS of Nu-Metal, this is the only podcast where you're gonna get the inside scoop (amidst a wonderful discussion of spirituality and philosophy of course).

Sevendust's new album "One" releases May 1st wherever you stream music.

Black Stone Cherry is a band that always evokes good times in their riffs, their vibes, and their demeanor. So what exactly is the spirituality behind life's best days and in the moments of celebration? That's exactly what I speak about with BSC guitarist Ben Wells about in this brand new Psychic Warfare. We speak on what you gain by giving back, the bliss and holiness of a perfect day, and also how the presence of good company and the right people keep you grounded in the present moment. Life is short, and worth celebrating. On this, Ben and I most heartily agree. Come listen for yourself!

Black Stone Cherry's new EP "Celebrate" will release on March 6 wherever you stream music.
