This week, we got an exclusive listen to tracks from the brand-new, unreleased album from Hamilton Sound, giving you a taste of what's coming before the album officially drops. Plus, we featured music from Lucas Snow’s gospel album, adding yet another sound to the incredible mix of genres you'll hear on Off Da Rock Radio.

And this one was a REAL treat! I caught up with Grammy Award-winning producer Greg Wells to talk about the show, Olde-Tyme Newfoundland Songs, and the upcoming second show November 5th show with Mr. Alan Doyle. We talked about the music, the project, and what makes this upcoming night such a special celebration of Newfoundland music and tradition.

Then we cracked open The Vault and travelled back through NL music history with Dave & Aubrey and their classic album Bartender’s Sweetheart. We spun a few favourites from the record and looked back at the music and stories behind a classic piece of Newfoundland's musical past.

🔓 Then we cracked open The Vault and went back to one of the true legends of Newfoundland music — Dick Nolan — featuring his album Home Again This Year. We spun a few cuts from the record and looked back at the man, the music, and an album filled with that unmistakable downhome Newfoundland sound that made Nolan a favourite for generations.

Martin, Pretty Subtle, Easton’s Crew, and Teddy Rowe, plus a newcomer you're definitely going to want to remember — 14-year-old Anna Corcoran from Placentia Bay! I also had the chance to chat with Anna about her music, her influences, and what it’s like beginning her musical journey at just 14 years old.
