    Ana Choperena Armendáriz es licenciada en Enfermería (2001) y en Humanidades (2008), y recibió el Premio Extraordinario por Rendimiento Académico. Obtuvo su doctorado en Historia por la Universidad de Navarra en 2014, con una tesis centrada en las memorias de las enfermeras de la Guerra Civil estadounidense. Ejerció la práctica clínica durante siete años en la Unidad de Hemodiálisis de la Clínica Universidad de Navarra antes de incorporarse al ámbito académico. Actualmente es profesora en la Facultad de Enfermería de la Universidad de Navarra, donde imparte docencia de grado y posgrado en historia de la enfermería, metodología y práctica avanzada de enfermería. Su investigación se centra en la atención centrada en la persona, lidera el proyecto NarratUN, financiado con fondos públicos, y colabora con diversos grupos de investigación nacionales e internacionales. Su producción académica aborda la escritura de las mujeres, los fundamentos de la enfermería y la práctica reflexiva, y ha contado con el apoyo de estancias posdoctorales en Boston College y en el Yvonne L. Munn Center. En la actualidad, ejerce como decana de la Facultad de Enfermería de la Universidad de Navarra y como vicepresidenta del capítulo Alpha Gamma Alpha (España) de Sigma Theta Tau International.

    Dra. Vanessa Freire is a Doctor of Nursing and member of the Research and Extension Group Technologies for Nursing Care in the Context of Chronic Diseases, Brazil.     University of São Paulo, with a fellowship at the College of Nursing,

    University of Iowa, IA, USA, and a postdoctoral fellow at the Paulista

    School of Nursing at the Federal University of São Paulo. Adjunct Professor

    at the School of Nursing at the Federal University of Goiás (FEN/UFG). She

    teaches undergraduate and graduate programs in Nursing and Health at

    the School of Nursing at the Federal University of Goiás (PPGENF-UFG).

    She is a Fellow of NANDA-International and has been a NANDA-I Diagnosis

    Development Committee member since 2018. She is a founding member of

    the Nursing Process Research Network (RePPE), and one of the leaders of

    the Center for Studies and Research in Human Healthcare with a Clinical Approach (NECAC/FEN/UFG). She also coordinates COMSISTE-Goias-Brazil. She has experience in nursing care, teaching, and research. Her research topics include the Nursing Process, Nursing Classification Systems (NANDA, NOC, and NIC), and Self-Care for People with Chronic Diseases, emphasizing cardiovascular complications.
