Come join me on my journey from a place of depression, self-hate and self-destruction towards self-love and the life I want for me and my family. I'm Solveig, mum of two small children, and I'm thrilled (and to be honest, terrified) to be able to share my journey and what I'm working on with myself. Hopefully I can inspire and help someone else along the way.


I will touch on topics within mental health, self-development, self-care, parenting, family life, the list goes on. There will also be stories from my everyday life, and if I'm really lucky, maybe some interviews somewhere in the future. I'll try and get a bit of my humour in as well - you can choose if you want to laugh with me or at me, either is fine. Laughter is good!


I'm all about honesty and openness, but at the same time I'm super private and want to stay as anonymous as I can. Great combination! Let's see how this goes!

  • About self-doubt and not feeling good enough

    This episode is about the self-doubt and feeling of not being good enough when perfectionism and overwhelm takes over the steering wheel.


    I get into how I’m actively working to rewire this pattern (at least as much as I can), and something I’ve specifically worked on the last weeks: healing my inner child and reparenting myself.


    There’s also a snippet of what idolising an older sibling can look like.

  • About becoming a mama of two, experiencing postpartum depression and choosing myself and self-love

    In this episode I’m talking about becoming a mama of two, and how despite having my dream birth, I experienced postpartum depression. I know the nature of the content of this episode can be difficult and triggering for some to listen to. Please see the timestamps below, and skip what’s not for you.


    I’m also talking about choosing myself and self-love, and working my way out of depression. This definitely is sharing something that feels a bit too personal to share, but that’s why I choose to do it. To contribute to openness and hopefully more people talking about it without the shame.


    After recording, I realised I hadn't talked about my partner as my rock through my struggles. In this episode he seems to barely be an extra in my life. And that felt incredibly unfair in my opinion. He's supporting, loving, comforting, understanding, and he goes above and beyond with the children - always!

    Oh, wow! This is actually happening! This episode is one I’ve been looking forward to share with you almost since I started this podcast. I’m so excited, and I just can’t hide it!
