In Under a Fell Black Sky – Episode 04, Ray Locke, Calista, Gloomaran, and Rykard Hemamori finally reach the dizzying heights of the old tower. After battling rogue Elves on the way up, the party might be forgiven for thinking the worst is behind them.

They would, of course, be completely wrong.

With the battlefield raging far below and the fell black sky looming overhead, the adventurers discover that reaching the top of the tower was merely the beginning. Their mission awaits, along with new dangers, difficult choices, and the distinct possibility that coming back down will be considerably harder than getting up.

The heroes have made it to the top.

Now they just have to survive what they find there.

In Under a Fell Black Sky – Episode 03, our Keeper-turned-Dungeon Daddy watches from behind the screen as Ray Locke, Calista, Gloomaran, and Rykard Hemamori discover that the rogue Elves blocking their ascent through the old tower aren't going to be talked aside quite so easily.

With negotiations rapidly giving way to violence, the party finds itself doing battle with a surprisingly nimble—and worryingly enthusiastic—band of dancing Elves. Blades flash, spells fly, boots tap, and what should have been a straightforward fight becomes something considerably more theatrical.

Outside, armies clash beneath a blackened sky. Inside, our heroes are locked in mortal combat with murderous Elves who apparently believe choreography is an essential part of warfare.

The tower awaits above... assuming anyone survives the dance.

Robert presses onward alone into the mysterious tunnel, venturing deeper beneath the island in search of answers—and hopefully an exit. Guillaume, meanwhile, makes his way back towards the beach, retracing their steps and confronting whatever might still be waiting along the shoreline. And Margot has decided she's had quite enough of mysterious islands altogether, putting her faith in a hastily constructed bamboo raft and the considerably less-than-hospitable South Pacific.

Three investigators. Three separate paths. And an island that has already demonstrated that neither geography nor reality can entirely be trusted.

Will Robert discover what lies beneath the island? Will Guillaume find something waiting for him on the beach? And can Margot really escape this nightmare with some bamboo and blind optimism?

In Under a Fell Black Sky – Episode 02, our Keeper-turned-Dungeon Daddy takes the reins as the WSM-RPG crew finally ventures inside the battered old tower looming over the battlefield.

Paladin Ray Locke, Barbarian Calista, Cleric Gloomaran, and Warforged Warlock Rykard Hemamori leave the carnage outside behind and begin the long climb through the tower's crumbling interior. But any hopes that four walls and a roof might offer some respite are quickly dashed.

Waiting above is a band of rogue Elves.

With an undead army raging beyond the walls, an increasingly questionable mission ahead of them, and armed strangers blocking the way, diplomacy might be the sensible option.

So naturally, things are about to get interesting.

In Under a Fell Black Sky – Episode 01: Setting the Scene, our Keeper of the Arcane Lore swaps titles to become Dungeon Daddy as the WSM-RPG crew plunges into a high-action Dungeons & Dragons one-shot enhanced by the immersive soundscapes of Syrinscape.

Unfortunately, the greatest monster at the table struck before the adventure had properly begun: dodgy recording equipment. With the original audio from the first session sadly corrupted beyond salvation, we weren't willing to consign the whole adventure to the technological void.

So, before we join the surviving actual-play recordings, Dad takes up the narrator's mantle for a specially produced dramatic recreation of that lost opening session. Beneath a fell black sky, a civilised army clashes with an overwhelming horde of undead, four adventurers awaken amid the carnage with precious little idea of what's happening, and an already chaotic battlefield is about to become considerably worse.
