• Lifers Need Love Too: Joshua Kruger- The Millionaire Prisoner's Story
    Oct 22 2026
Does a life sentence mean your life is over? And who gets to decide whether someone deserves love, happiness, or a second chance? This week, I'm joined by Joshua Kruger, better known as The Millionaire Prisoner. Sentenced to life under Illinois's felony murder law despite being acquitted of intentional murder, Joshua has spent more than 25 years behind bars. During that time, he's become a successful author and an inspiration to countless incarcerated people, including my own husband. But this conversation goes far beyond his accomplishments.Joshua opens up about how decades of incarceration have affected his ability to trust, love, and connect with others. We discuss heartbreak, the fear of abandonment, and the challenges of building meaningful relationships when there's no guarantee of ever coming home.As the wife of a lifer, I also share my experiences with the judgment surrounding prison relationships. We challenge the idea that incarcerated people don't deserve love or happiness while acknowledging the sacrifices, responsibilities, and challenges these relationships bring. We also discuss the felony murder rule, rehabilitation, accountability, and the important role lifers can play in influencing younger generations behind bars.Because being sentenced to life in prison isn't the same as being sentenced to stop living. And sometimes, the people society has written off have the most important lessons to teach us.To connect with Joshua Kruger:Go to corrlinks.com and make an account. • Life Lately: Solitary Confinement, Retaliation & New Hope for Nick
    Oct 15 2026
Welcome back to Season 3 of More Than an Inmate's Girlfriend! It's been a few months, and to say life has been eventful would be an understatement. In this season premiere, I'm catching you up on everything that's happened behind the scenes. From losing my job and moving across the country to starting a new business, navigating my husband's placement in long-term restrictive housing, and organizing my very first prison reform rally, life has taken some unexpected turns.I'm also opening up about the disturbing information we've uncovered through discovery in our ongoing lawsuit against the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services, the conditions people are enduring in restrictive housing, and why another prison wife and I decided enough was enough. And perhaps most importantly, I'm sharing some significant developments surrounding Nick's conviction, Nebraska's felony murder law, and new legal proceedings that could potentially open the door to another chance at justice.Through all the uncertainty, I've held on to one belief: Sometimes the things that feel like they're breaking us are actually leading us exactly where we need to be.This episode is personal, emotional, frustrating, and hopeful. It's about finding purpose in difficult circumstances, standing up for what's right, and refusing to give up on the people we love.Thank you for being here, for supporting this journey, and for reminding me why these conversations matter.Mentioned in this episode:NOT ANOTHER YEAR Rally — October 17, 2026Nebraska State Capitol, Lincoln: 10 AM–12 PMTecumseh State Correctional Institution: 2–3:30 PMFollow More Than an Inmate's Girlfriend on social media and join us for another season of stories that deserve to be heard.Sign your loved one in federal prison up for new texting service InsideLink by going to freeus.nowInterested in getting your incarcerated loved one a FREE gift catalog? • From Gang Member to Graduate: Silas' "Hero Journey" Home (Part 2)
    Jun 18 2026

In the conclusion of our powerful conversation with Silas, we go deeper into the realities of gang culture, prison violence, accountability, loss, and redemption.

Silas shares what life was really like inside California's prison system, the mentality that fuels gang involvement, and the difficult process of walking away from an identity that once defined him. He reflects on violence, power, fear, and the emotional cost of carrying the weight of his past.

We also discuss the devastating murder of his nephew after Silas came home, how that tragedy challenged everything he had learned about forgiveness and justice, and the contradictions of experiencing loss from both sides of the criminal justice system.

Throughout this season finale, Silas offers rare insight into personal transformation, the lifelong work of redemption, and what it means to take responsibility for the harm you've caused while still believing you deserve to grow beyond it.

This is an honest, thought-provoking conversation about grief, gang culture, accountability, healing, and the difficult path toward becoming the person you were always capable of being.

    Season Finale.

  • From Pimp to Prevention: Breaking the Cycle of Trauma (Floyd's Story)
    May 28 2026

Jae sits down with incarcerated author and college graduate Floyd Green, also known as “Dinero the Great,” for an honest discussion about trauma, survival, human trafficking, and rehabilitation.

Growing up surrounded by poverty, abuse, addiction, abandonment, and violence, Floyd explains how unresolved childhood trauma shaped his mindset, relationships, and eventual involvement in pimping and human trafficking. He speaks openly about manipulation, narcissism, intergenerational trauma, and the dangerous cycle that turns victims into abusers.

But this episode isn’t just about the crimes — it’s about accountability, healing, and what rehabilitation can actually look like. Floyd discusses the psychological evaluations, self-work, education, and rehabilitative programs that helped him confront the harm he caused, and why he created a first-of-its-kind curriculum focused specifically on preventing human trafficking and exploitation.

This conversation explores questions society rarely asks:

    • Can trauma explain criminal behavior without excusing it?

    • Why do so many systems fail vulnerable children?

    • What does true rehabilitation actually require?

    • And how do we stop cycles of exploitation before they begin?

This episode contains discussions of abuse, trafficking, addiction, and childhood trauma. Listener discretion is advised.

  • The Internet Hates Prison Love — Anna Doesn’t Care
    May 14 2026

Anna joins the podcast to share her emotional journey through childhood trauma, family loss, toxic relationships, and ultimately finding love with her incarcerated fiancé, Chase. Raised by her grandmother after her mother lost custody, Anna opens up about growing up without her biological father, navigating abuse and abandonment, and how losing the woman who raised her pushed her to completely restart her life.

What began as writing incarcerated pen pals eventually led her to Chase — a man who, unlike others before him, made her feel safe, understood, and emotionally supported. Together, they built a relationship entirely through phone calls, video visits, honesty, and communication.

In this episode, Anna speaks candidly about anxiety in prison relationships, dealing with online hate and criticism, the pressure social media creates for prison couples, and why she refuses to let strangers define her relationship. She also shares her hopes for the future, including marriage, businesses they plan to build together, and Chase’s plans for life after prison.
