Mitch wakes up after a wild night with a pounding headache, a stranger in his bed, and almost no memory of what happened.

He expects the rest of the day to be normal.

It isn’t.

From uncomfortable encounters on the street to a disturbing situation at work, Mitch begins to feel like the world around him has suddenly changed. The more he tries to make sense of it, the stranger things become.

By the time he stops for a drink, Mitch is desperate for the day to end.

But his night is only beginning.

When his behavior becomes impossible to ignore, Sadie starts to wonder whether grief is the only thing haunting their home.
