Brigitte Mars shares her lifelong journey as an herbalist, her insights on natural healing, psychedelics, consciousness, and finding your life purpose.

In this episode of Magic Happens with Melody Hu, Melody sits down with the author, founding member of the American Herbalists Guild, and end-of-life doula for a conversation about following your calling and living with intention.

From her grandmother’s folk remedies to life in an Ozarks teepee, Brigitte reflects on the experiences that shaped her unconventional path. She shares lessons from the flower child movement, the importance of intention and integration in psychedelic experiences, and how her work as a death doula and her reading of The Urantia Book inform her personal perspectives on life and death.

The conversation also explores practical ways to follow your spark: combining what you love with what you’re good at, building a livelihood around multiple passions, and making a list of 100 things you want to do in your lifetime.

For Brigitte, everyday magic begins with intention, service, and a deeper connection to the natural world.
