What happens when a pharmacist begins listening to intuition as deeply as science? In this episode of Magic Happens with Melody Hu, Melody sits down with Tori Rerick — PharmD, medicine woman, and oracle artist — to explore her journey from conventional pharmacy into plant medicine, divination, and holistic healing.Tori shares how childhood imagination, nature, her Norse and Nigerian heritage, and her own mental health journey shaped the work she does today. We talk about the limits of one-size-fits-all healing, learning to trust your own inner knowing, and finding support through multiple modalities. We also dive into Tori’s Follow Your Heart Oracle deck, her relationship with cannabis as both medicine and plant spirit, the intersection of cannabis and social justice, and the surprising connection she later discovered between her oracle work and her Norse ancestry. And near the end of the episode, Tori offers a collective oracle reading for everyone listening.Magic happens when we trust our inner knowing, honor the wisdom that has always been with us, and allow healing to come from more than one path.Hosted by Melody Hu
