The Bible teaches that all men naturally have a have high view of themselves (Prov. 16:2, 21:2, Ps. 36:2). This is why we need the Word of God and the Spirit of God so that we can see what we cannot naturally see.

The Text: “To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good...” (Ps. 14:1-7)
