What happens when you stop climbing someone else's ladder and build your own? Welcome to the show for women pivoting out of traditional careers and writing their own rules.

Cat Canada is a brand strategist and founder of Re:Brand, a 1,700+ member community, built solely through word of mouth. She’s obsessed with the women rebranding products, industries, and themselves because she’s done it herself and she knows it’s not polished or easy. Cat and her guests talk about the choices, the mess, the revelations and the "let's go for it" moments when courage takes over.

  • Neha Ruch on Motherhood, Ambition, and the Language of Identity
    Oct 13 2026

Ambition has been handed to women in one shape. It’s the C-suite, the power suit, the least possible time with loved ones. Neha Ruch, founder of The Power Pause, is pushing back.

Neha was running brand at a tech company when she became a mom and took her foot off the gas. The questions came fast. Won’t you be bored? Are you giving up your ambition? ln 2016, at the height of the ‘Lean In’ era, she started a mom blog that someone at her business school reunion called “cute.” Some women called her ideas anti-feminist. It all became The Power Pause: a movement, a community, and a bestselling book giving a generation of mothers new language for ambition, identity, and the choice to step back without stepping out.

In this episode of It's Called a Re:Brand, Cat owns up to being one of the people who didn't get it at first, until she left her own job. They explore why Neha says women proved their place in the workforce "by pretending we were the same as men," the identity hit that comes when the title goes away, why owning your choice is what makes a pause powerful, the "serious self-study" that builds an identity bigger than any job, and Neha's take on Emma Grede’s controversial return-to-office comments that set the internet on fire. Plus, Neha’s take on the best rebrand of all time (it's Crocs).

It's Called a Re:Brand is a live podcast brought to you by Re:Brand — a women-first professional community of nearly 2,000 members. We talk to the women rebranding themselves and their industries, proving a pivot isn't a failure, it's called a rebrand.

  • Periods, Performance, and Swagger with Amanda Calabrese
    Sep 29 2026

Amanda Calabrese not only helped redesign the tampon, she also rebranded how we think about it - as high performance game day equipment.

A Stanford-trained engineer and six-time US national champion in surf lifesaving, Amanda co-founded Sequel, the first redesign of the tampon in almost 100 years for athletes and everyone who's ever been let down by their period products. In this episode of It's Called a Re:Brand, she and Cat Canada get into turning a class project into an FDA-cleared product, the identity crisis of losing her spot on the national team, why founder-led content is the girlboss era repackaged, and why women should finally get to say "I'm the best" out loud. Recorded live in front of the Re:Brand community.

  • Postpartum, Rebuilding and Going Viral With Sarah Hollingsworth
    Sep 15 2026

Sarah Hollingsworth left a high-velocity career at a tech start-up six months after her daughter was born. What came next wasn't the redemption arc she expected.

In this episode of It's Called a Re:Brand, Sarah gets honest about postpartum depression, the freeway drive that became her wake-up call, and how that pain and difficult moment eventually fueled her to create Poppylist, the baby registry built to offer new parents the agency the industry never gave her.

This is a conversation about the small rebrands hiding inside the big ones around motherhood, identity, mental health, and finally, founding something of her own. Plus, how Sarah accidentally went viral with the help of a resort bartender and a well-timed Olivia Dean song.
