INSIGHT is the first Armenian-English language power and culture podcast in the United States.

Hosted by Emma Sargsyan - media founder, PR strategist, and owner of an Armenian-language platforms with 30 million monthly readers , INSIGHT brings you long-form conversations with extraordinary guests at the intersection of business, identity, leadership and culture.

Each episode goes beyond the résumé. Beyond the highlight reel. Into the real story - what it actually cost, what it actually took, and what the person sitting across from Emma learned that they could not have learned any other way.

Guests include Silicon Valley entrepreneurs, Marine veterans, fashion designers who kept their dreams secret through military deployments, Freemasons, political activists, financial economists who survived war and revolution, and the builders — seen and unseen — who are shaping the Armenian diaspora and the broader world.

INSIGHT is distributed globally and amplified through Tribune.am's editorial reach across Los Angeles, Yerevan, Moscow, Beirut, Paris and the Armenian diaspora on four continents.

New episodes every week.

If you have ever built something from nothing — or wanted to — this show is for you.

  • It's Entertaining Propaganda — A Documentary Director Tells the Truth. Jason Aron
    Oct 3 2026

Let us know what you think!

His name wasn't always Jason. Before he was directing documentaries with Steven Spielberg and running the Mayweather vs. McGregor press tour, he was a kid in Teaneck, New Jersey named Noam.

In this conversation, Jason Aron explains what a documentary actually is once the cameras stop rolling — "entertaining propaganda," in his own words — and what it's like to build the most-watched moments in someone else's story while quietly editing your own.

We talk about the bar mitzvah video that accidentally became a film starring Spielberg and Michael J. Fox, what was real and what wasn't backstage at Mayweather vs. McGregor, and the one scene from his own life he'd cut if he could.

    CHAPTERS
00:00 Cold open — "At some point, you became Jason"
01:30 Yavneh, TABC, and the criminal justice degree his parents wanted
04:30 The bar mitzvah video that led to Spielberg
08:15 The Kickstarter, and the call from "Adam Goldberg"
    20:58 The Read
    22:11 "Is it accurate?"
30:53 Mayweather vs. McGregor — real or theater?
35:52 "Is a documentary journalism, or a product?"
    40:15 Define "unfiltered"
49:50 The moment he'd fight to cut from his own life

  • $1.2 Million In 11 Days. For Children Who Can't Get A Transplant.
    Sep 21 2026

Let us know what you think!

"People look at a picture from outside and they picture it differently. It's a beautiful picture. I wake up, I put on my makeup, I have a smile on my face. But people don't know the inside."

🎟️ Seed of Life Gala — September 30. Donate here:
    https://www.wctf.org/how-to-help/
All proceeds support the World Children's Transplant Fund.

Louise Gill chairs a foundation that gives children in countries without the medical infrastructure a chance at a transplant. A diagnosis that's survivable here is a death sentence there. On September 30 she's trying to raise $1.2 million toward a fund in Armenia.

She has almost no presence online, and that's deliberate. This is the first long conversation she's given.

    In this episode:
    — the mother in Argentina whose dying request started the whole organisation
    — what the money actually pays for, and where it goes
    — what she learned from her mother, who helped resettle Armenian refugees for decades
    — being on a police commission and what she's had to say from that seat
    — what she says to one person who thinks they're not enough
    — why she believes being humble is the highest form of integrity

  • FBI's Top Polygraph Examiner Reveals The Only 5 Lies That Exist
    Sep 27 2026

Let us know what you think!

He spent 22 years in the FBI. For over two decades of it, he decided whether people were telling the truth.

George Olivo became an FBI-certified polygraph examiner in 2012, and was later promoted to Senior Polygraph Examiner for the FBI's Los Angeles Division, managing the polygraph program for the second-largest office in the country. His colleagues called him the Gatekeeper.

In this conversation, he explains the only five lies that actually exist, why he treats every person in that chair like a hundred-dollar bill, and the exact moment — he calls it the point of surrender — where nearly every confession happens. He tells the story of a night in an abandoned house in Englewood that changed the course of his life. And near the end, he says something about the Casey Anthony case he's never said publicly before.

Since retiring from the Bureau, George has conducted polygraph examinations for A&E's Lie Detector series, including George and Cindy Anthony and Shannon Price, and appears regularly on FBI-focused podcasts including The Consult and FBI Case File Review. He now runs George Olivo & Associates, a private practice offering federally certified polygraph examinations in all fifty states.

He also runs Operation DREAM, a nonprofit providing food and support to orphans in Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
