    Asante Sana Joins Indie Tea Talk!


    Welcome back to the Indie Tea Talk Podcast. In this episode, we sit down with Will Underwood, performing under the name Asante Sana, for an honest conversation about songwriting, evolution, and finding new creative lanes.


    Will first came to prominence fronting Leeds band Dusk between 2015 and 2019, playing sold out shows across the North, opening for IDLES, performing at venues like the 100 Club and Leeds O2 Academy at just 17, and signing to MAS Records. Since then, he has built a career as a session guitarist and freelance producer, working with artists across the UK.


    Since launching his Asante Sana project in 2022, Will has released a run of singles leading up to his debut EP, blending thoughtful songwriting with a modern, groove driven sound. In 2025, he also stepped into the DJ world, playing shows across London and expanding his creative output even further.

    Their debut EP LURID Subject Matter has already passed 100,000 streams, and with a new EP planned for March 2026 alongside another full UK tour, the band are clearly building serious momentum.
