  • Ep. 215: One of the Good Ones (Ft. Deandre Simmons & Merci)
    Jan 21 2026

Our guests are quarter-zipped up, looking fly as hell, and are ready for whatever InTALLerable has in store (hint, a lot). Both Denver open-mic comics whom Grant loves so much that he provided their quarter-zips & sat in with these fine gentlemen for the EATIN’. Join me in welcoming two dudes who we had almost too much fun hanging & eating smoked chicken wings with, it’s dapper & debonair, spruced up & suave, personable & pulchritudinous, folks click those digital fingers for: Deandre Simmons & Merci!

Deandre has recently found a love for reading, so I thought he’d appreciate some new adjectives to use on the ladies (I gotchu, bro). Let’s be real. Deandre & Merci are here for laughs, fun, and our usual ill-fated reflections of the world around us, yes. But reeeaaally.. They're here at Top Shelf Studios to see if our smoked wings pass the ‘Cultured’ test.

From ice skating & other white activities, potential plans to picket (if necessary) to reclaim hosting an open-mic for black history month, a new color that’s name is superseded in stupidity only by the fact that you can’t actually see the color, to our meager attempts at educating young Deandre on American pop-culture references that he’s too young to know or understand.

“19?!? Goddamn!” -Deandre after asking what year Sean & Grant were born

Follow them on Instagram to see what fun they’ve got going on next!

  • Ep. 214: Time-Tramp-Stamp (Ft. Jesse Green & Jacob Humphries)
    Jan 15 2026

Our guests are two childhood friends who grew up together in South Carolina. Jesse Green makes his Top Shelf debut, promising to keep his clothes on the entire time, and returning fan-favorite, Jacob Humphries, who is always eager to smash some smoked chicken wings & turn up the riff to InTALLerable levels.

We learn about the origin of Jesse’s old-timey name, and hear all about working in a local grocery store. If you’re someone who disrespects check-out-boys, just remember that Jesse is the crucial conduit between hard-working families & the ever-present threat of their child starving. We refuse the right to refuse service to anyone, especially people who are rude to service workers. Jacob tells us about performing stand-up in a unique, perhaps terrifying, venue: a gun range combo whiskey tasting room. Luckily we had our guests check any weapons at the door. Safety (& jokes) first.

Southern Grandma is always well-seasoned, RED40 creates stronger kids, chicken parm is meant to be prepared on a pellet smoker, deep fear of the “blue water people”; the only truth you’ll find here is that the Dixon Ticonderoga is the greatest pencil in human history.

The rest is jokes, satire, or sarcasm.

YUGE shoutout to Brody, our newest Patreon supporter! Apparently, Brody isn’t concerned with the follies of men, because he has God on his side, so he skipped the small ball stuff & joined the ‘Manifest Destiny’ Tier for $20. What a king, y’all. He’s also ripped as shit, full natty.

Supporters like Brody make our show possible & keep us 100% ad-free.

If you (Yes, YOU!) want to get in on the fun while supporting our dreams & helping to put smoked meats into the mouths of new hilarious guests, then go join our growing ‘Heights’ at: Patreon.com/InTALLerable — EATIN’ w/ guest & lots more bonus content!

  • Ep. 213: No Confrontation for Me, Sir. (Ft. Russell Keller)
    Jan 8 2026

My guest is Colorado Springs based stand-up comic, Russell Keller! You can follow him on Instagram @RussellPKeller or find out where you can see him perform next on his website: https://www.russellkellercomedy.com

Russell produces & hosts lots of amazing shows around the Springs, including: ‘Pikes Punks’ a monthly comedy show & the ‘Don’t Tell’ comedy shows in Colorado Springs. His journey to our humble garage here at Top Shelf was a long one, but I hope our signature ‘smoked-wing-hospitality’ made up for the time lost with his beautiful family.

That’s time he won’t get back, so you better love this episode.

We discussed what it’s like being a ‘Girl-Dad’, how Russell’s lack of self respect & deep fear of confrontation resulted in 6 hours of driving just to NOT perform at an open mic in Fort Collins, and our shared disdain for mega-church, strum-heavy, stomp-along music. Be honest with yourself, folks, we need a drastic revamp. A return to a more angelic approach: Choir in the back, no fanfare, just sweet hymnal song & organ music. PTL

Hear about how Russell got reported to the ministry HR for allegedly committing Heresy at their daily group Bible study, declining from teaching other Door Staff “manners” because it was his only differentiating skillset among the drug-addled degenerates (I assume). Are you a dude who needs to learn how a pad works? This is the ep for you.

Thankful to Russell for his time & grateful we got this hang together.

  • Ep. 212: Black Lieutenant Dan (Ft. Tairee Dillard)
    Jan 2 2026

My guest is Tairee Dillard, Denver stand-up comic & returning guest to InTALLerable. He kindly put up with our non ADA-compliant studio setup, so that we could ring in the new year over some of life’s finer things: Hennessy & Red Bull, smoked chicken wings, and laughter among friends. The last of which being the scarcest resource in our battle against AI Slop.

Tairee tells me about this random super hero he found around Denver called ‘The Vigilante’, how he got him connected with Alek Seballes (filmmaker, guest of InTALLerable), so together they can make a movie! Follow Tairee on Instagram @TaireeTheComedian

Help fund their project here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-bring-the-vigilante-film-to-life

We talked about perception and Tairee told me about his battle to reframe his confidence in his 30’s, misperception & women, his never-ending effort to make other people comfortable around him, and how he plans to put his foot to the gas in 2026. Feet be damned, I believe in Tairee & hope you all enjoy his company as much as I did for this hang. Just don’t get caught in the slow lane in front of him in 2026, because he will run your ass over on his way to the top!

  • Ep. 211: (Not A) Christmas Special (Ft. Al & Sam)
    Dec 30 2025

Santa came late on this release, but only ‘cause his reindeer had a mixup with a Kia Soul. He said our loyal fans would understand & appreciate the extra anticipation. Not expecting any extra gifts, but any coal we get in InTALLerable’s stocking would only fuel our rise.

Our guests are old friends, Al, known for his disdain for all things, but especially Christmas, and Sam, professional producer, on-air talent, and recently voted both most likely to nail a clutch three in a local pickup game, or get nailed from behind by a 3 in a pickup on I-25.

    (For one, two, three!!)

We get down to the truth about boxing day, Al’s battle with Traffic Enforcement, the movie that Al has been making for months with ‘The Vigilante’, being sucked back into streaming services by the Diddy doc, and a thorough argumentative examination of ‘The Grinch’, focusing mainly on his ostracized standing from Whovillian society. Merry Christmas indeed, folks.

  • Ep. 210: Pizzazz Man & the High Seas (Ft. Brent Gill)
    Dec 18 2025
Our guest, Brent Gill, is a stand-up comedian & Colorado-native who began performing comedy while attending CU Boulder. After years of being a well-loved staple of Denver’s comedy scene, the founder of the ‘Boulder Comedy Show’ & ‘Good Session’ has moved to the modern Mecca (arguably) for stand-up comedy: Austin, Texas. Brent is a seasoned storyteller with unlimited stage presence & pizzazz; we’re fortunate he made time to come on our silly, undiscovered, show to laugh & eat with us!Follow Brent on Instagram @iambrentgill & check out his shows ‘Good Session’ @goodsession.comedy & his work with Hole Hecklers @holehecklers AND please (for your own sake), watch his special — ‘Live From Gilladelphia’ — on YouTube here: https://youtu.be/NazbuSmAFaE?si=U0TnbkuwxL7T0In3Brent brought his appetite for smoked meat to Top Shelf and he was eager to share some of the low-lights from the early days on the road, including his first ever headlining weekend in Questa, New Mexico. During this tale, we accidentally stumbled over an inspiring story of success for ‘The Best Impressionist in Albuquerque’ who was the scheduled feature act for Brent that weekend and has since gone on to “make it” on the silver screen (IMDb Page & all!). I’d bet it has to be, the greatest story of triumph for any performer at the Liquor Store/VFW/Pool Hall/Mexican Restaurant in unincorporated Questa, NM. • Ep. 209: Nu·cle·ar (Ft. Jeff Morris & Grayson Garcia)
    Dec 11 2025

Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas to all — especially all you who know how to properly pronounce: ‘Nuclear’. Our guests are both returning InTALLerable fan-favorites & Denver stand-up comics, eager to drink some ‘Nog & munch the best backyard smoked chicken wings Colorado offers. Whether you’re reading this at your work desk or you’re comfortably tucked in bed, get UP UP UP on your Christmas-loving feet & welcome our guests, you probably know them from the ‘Naughty’ List: Jeff Morris & Grayson Garcia!

Follow them on Instagram — Jeff @Jeff_Dingus_Morris & Grayson @Grayson_Garcia

In this Christmasy-adjacent episode, we learn some more ‘dead-dad’ lore from Jeff, including how around this time of year, his father would remind him how he was conceived. A real pile-of-towels-in-the-mudroom baby Jesus manger vibe. How angelic. Grayson teaches us about the special aerodynamics that were designed in commercial airplanes, we wonder where Jeff hides the supposed credit card’s worth of plastic in his balls, & the debate of the year — how to pronounce the word: ‘Nuclear’ — gets so heated that we needed a call-in from (now LA comic) Tonya Sabrina, PhD holder in Nuclear Physics, to settle it.

A fun hang with the boys. ‘Ope — and Greer! How could we forget about our in-studio live portrait artist?! She even joined us on camera for the EATIN’ — Patreon.com/InTALLerable

  • Ep. 208: Uncrustable Theft in Genocide Class (Ft. Garrett Nygren)
    Dec 4 2025

Our returning guest is the founder of Pallet City Comedy, host & producer of stand-up shows all around Denver, and a high school teacher molding the minds of our future leaders. Between teaching freshman about genocide during his days and performing stand-up comedy at night, you might be wondering (like I was) how he manages to oscillate between the Holocaust and Ha-Ha’s. Garrett Nygren says it best himself: “It evens out to a normal person.”

    Follow Garrett @Garrett.Nygren & @palletcitycomedy on Instagram!

If I were a freshman again, I would want to start each day with Garrett’s goofy face at the front of the class, his mustache dancing through the material, teaching us about what every eager-to-learn student really wants to be learning at 8 am, genocide.

Garrett tells us about his sweet dance moves. Isolations, Head-Spins, the guy’s got it all. He even had a hat with one of those plastic squares on top, made specifically for spinning.

PSA: when Garrett gets to spinning on his head, you best be getting your face out of the way.

We talk about the ethical dilemma of AI usage in the classroom, Garrett shares about what it’s like to only be teaching a class about genocide, we wonder how to possibly install ‘Friday-Mode’ onto Sean’s brain, and we wonder what the new “third-place” could be in an America where people are drinking alcohol less and less. I just pray it isn’t the sober coffee dance party that Garrett told us about. Please, God, no.
