  • Ep. 215: One of the Good Ones (Ft. Deandre Simmons & Merci)
    Jan 21 2026

Our guests are quarter-zipped up, looking fly as hell, and are ready for whatever InTALLerable has in store (hint, a lot). Both Denver open-mic comics whom Grant loves so much that he provided their quarter-zips & sat in with these fine gentlemen for the EATIN’. Join me in welcoming two dudes who we had almost too much fun hanging & eating smoked chicken wings with, it’s dapper & debonair, spruced up & suave, personable & pulchritudinous, folks click those digital fingers for: Deandre Simmons & Merci!

Deandre has recently found a love for reading, so I thought he’d appreciate some new adjectives to use on the ladies (I gotchu, bro). Let’s be real. Deandre & Merci are here for laughs, fun, and our usual ill-fated reflections of the world around us, yes. But reeeaaally.. They're here at Top Shelf Studios to see if our smoked wings pass the ‘Cultured’ test.

From ice skating & other white activities, potential plans to picket (if necessary) to reclaim hosting an open-mic for black history month, a new color that’s name is superseded in stupidity only by the fact that you can’t actually see the color, to our meager attempts at educating young Deandre on American pop-culture references that he’s too young to know or understand.

“19?!? Goddamn!” -Deandre after asking what year Sean & Grant were born

Follow them on Instagram to see what fun they’ve got going on next!

  • Ep. 214: Time-Tramp-Stamp (Ft. Jesse Green & Jacob Humphries)
    Jan 15 2026

Our guests are two childhood friends who grew up together in South Carolina. Jesse Green makes his Top Shelf debut, promising to keep his clothes on the entire time, and returning fan-favorite, Jacob Humphries, who is always eager to smash some smoked chicken wings & turn up the riff to InTALLerable levels.

We learn about the origin of Jesse’s old-timey name, and hear all about working in a local grocery store. If you’re someone who disrespects check-out-boys, just remember that Jesse is the crucial conduit between hard-working families & the ever-present threat of their child starving. We refuse the right to refuse service to anyone, especially people who are rude to service workers. Jacob tells us about performing stand-up in a unique, perhaps terrifying, venue: a gun range combo whiskey tasting room. Luckily we had our guests check any weapons at the door. Safety (& jokes) first.

Southern Grandma is always well-seasoned, RED40 creates stronger kids, chicken parm is meant to be prepared on a pellet smoker, deep fear of the “blue water people”; the only truth you’ll find here is that the Dixon Ticonderoga is the greatest pencil in human history.

The rest is jokes, satire, or sarcasm.

YUGE shoutout to Brody, our newest Patreon supporter! Apparently, Brody isn’t concerned with the follies of men, because he has God on his side, so he skipped the small ball stuff & joined the ‘Manifest Destiny’ Tier for $20. What a king, y’all. He’s also ripped as shit, full natty.

Supporters like Brody make our show possible & keep us 100% ad-free.

If you (Yes, YOU!) want to get in on the fun while supporting our dreams & helping to put smoked meats into the mouths of new hilarious guests, then go join our growing ‘Heights’ at: Patreon.com/InTALLerable — EATIN’ w/ guest & lots more bonus content!

  • Ep. 213: No Confrontation for Me, Sir. (Ft. Russell Keller)
    Jan 8 2026

My guest is Colorado Springs based stand-up comic, Russell Keller! You can follow him on Instagram @RussellPKeller or find out where you can see him perform next on his website: https://www.russellkellercomedy.com

Russell produces & hosts lots of amazing shows around the Springs, including: ‘Pikes Punks’ a monthly comedy show & the ‘Don’t Tell’ comedy shows in Colorado Springs. His journey to our humble garage here at Top Shelf was a long one, but I hope our signature ‘smoked-wing-hospitality’ made up for the time lost with his beautiful family.

That’s time he won’t get back, so you better love this episode.

We discussed what it’s like being a ‘Girl-Dad’, how Russell’s lack of self respect & deep fear of confrontation resulted in 6 hours of driving just to NOT perform at an open mic in Fort Collins, and our shared disdain for mega-church, strum-heavy, stomp-along music. Be honest with yourself, folks, we need a drastic revamp. A return to a more angelic approach: Choir in the back, no fanfare, just sweet hymnal song & organ music. PTL

Hear about how Russell got reported to the ministry HR for allegedly committing Heresy at their daily group Bible study, declining from teaching other Door Staff “manners” because it was his only differentiating skillset among the drug-addled degenerates (I assume). Are you a dude who needs to learn how a pad works? This is the ep for you.

Thankful to Russell for his time & grateful we got this hang together.
