On Tuesday Petersfield Football club dropped a bombshell through social media that they were parting ways half way through the season with their overachieving manager Connor Hoare. This news rocked the Petersphere and just as the anger and confusion began to surface amongst the fans, all the players and coaching staff of the men's first team quit soon after. The board of directors came under fire as fans and players criticised the running of the club. The board decided to hold a meeting at the club on Friday to address fan concerns and inform them of the most immediate plans to tackle the crisis. In the Haslemere table tennis league, the battle is emerging for the title between the Petersfield A side and College Hill.
