In The Blind is the raw country music and lifestyle podcast filmed inside Riley Green’s Duck Blind in midtown Nashville. Hosts Eric Gunderson and Stephen Barker Liles of platinum selling duo Love and Theft sit down artist to artist for unfiltered talks on the music, the road, family, and real life. This week’s guest is Dustin Lolli, lead singer of Christian rock band Sanctus Real. The Toledo band has stacked eight No. 1 songs, a Dove Award, and Grammy nominations on hits like “Lead Me,” “I’m Not Alright,” and the platinum single “Confidence.” Dustin stepped in after years as a worship leader, and nearly a decade later the band is writing and releasing on their own terms.

We talked about the wild turn Christian culture has taken in recent years and how that has hit his ministry and the music he is writing and releasing. In a world fueled by cancel culture, this one may ruffle a few feathers. It is an honest and raw conversation about the modern day church, modern day Christian music, and the culture that comes with it. An interesting perspective for a country music podcast. We got into Corey’s brand new project Heartland Rock and Roll, the grind, how he has walked a unique path, doing things on his terms, family, mental health, the music business, community, and so much more. This was an incredible conversation. Tune in, like and subscribe, and please share it with your country music loving friends. 🦆
