  • Are You Showing Up to Show Out?
    Jul 20 2026

What if God is less concerned with your presentation and more concerned with your preparation?

In this episode of Impact Over Influence, we explore the biblical difference between showing up and showing out. Through the lives of David, Paul's prayer in Ephesians 3, and Peter's call to humility, we discover that God strengthens the hidden places before He ever expands our public influence.

David wasn't qualified by a stage, he was formed in the pasture! Read that AGAIN! David wasn't qualified by a stage, he was formed in the pasture! While everyone else focused on the size of Goliath, David focused on the greatness of God. His courage wasn't born on the battlefield; it was cultivated in private.

    Together we'll ask:

    • What area of your life needs to be strengthened in your inner being?
    • Are your daily priorities rooted and grounded in love?
    • Have you been relying more on fleshly preparation than spiritual resilience?
    • What has God already prepared you to do that hesitation has kept you from stepping into?

We'll also unpack Paul's powerful prayer in Ephesians 3:14–21, discovering why deep roots always come before lasting fruit and why true Kingdom influence begins with humility, hidden faithfulness, and complete dependence on Christ.

If you've ever wrestled with comparison, fear of failure, or the pressure to impress, this conversation is an invitation to stop striving for recognition and simply surrender to obedience.

Show up. Stay rooted. Let God handle the outcome.

  • The Questions Jesus Ask
    Jul 14 2026

Podcast Description: The Questions Jesus Asks

What if the greatest breakthroughs in your life don't begin with the answers you give, but with the questions Jesus asks?

In this episode of Impact Over Influence, we walk through John 5, the account of the man at the Pool of Bethesda, and uncover the powerful questions that expose our hearts, challenge our excuses, and invite us into transformation.

    Together we'll explore:

    • Why Jesus asked, "Do you want to be made well?"
    • The difference between seeking relief and pursuing true healing.
    • Why your hope can never be placed in people, systems, or circumstances but only in Christ.
    • What it means to "take up your mat" and allow your testimony to become part of God's story.
    • How religion can sometimes become so focused on rules that it misses the miracle standing in front of it.
    • Why Jesus heals us not only to restore us but to call us into a life of holiness and obedience.
    • How the Holy Spirit brings life today, freeing us from spiritual paralysis.
    • Why Scripture is living and active, bringing clarity, encouragement, conviction, and transformation when we allow it to shape us.
    • The importance of taking every thought captive, renewing our minds, and shifting our focus from the created things to the Creator.

We'll also discuss the textual note surrounding John 5:4, why many modern translations omit the verse, and how understanding the history of the text actually strengthens our confidence in God's Word rather than weakening it.

Jesus is still asking questions today! Not because He lacks information, but because He is inviting us into revelation.

The question is... how will you answer?

  • Who You Are vs. Whose You Are
    Jul 6 2026

Who You Are vs. Whose You Are

    Who are you... really?

When someone asks you to describe yourself, where does your mind go? Your career? Your accomplishments? Your failures? Your roles? Or do you begin with the One you belong to?

In this episode, we unpack the life-changing difference between knowing who you are and remembering Whose you are. Our identity was never meant to be built on what we do, what we have, or what others think of us. It is rooted in our relationship with our Good Father.

    Together, we'll explore:

    • Why Jesus taught His disciples to pray, "Our Father..." before anything else.
    • How sonship changes the way we face life's storms.
    • Why your circumstances don't determine your identity.
    • The danger of allowing problems to become so magnified that they blind us to God's presence.
    • How Hagar's story reminds us that God often opens our eyes to the provision that was there all along.
    • Why obedience often requires courage before clarity.
    • How God turns empty nets into overflowing ones when we trust Him.

If your life feels uncertain, your identity feels shaken, or you're trying to navigate a difficult season, this conversation is an invitation to lift your eyes from your circumstances and fix them on the Father who has never lost sight of you.

Because when you truly understand Whose you are, everything about who you are begins to change.

    Key Scriptures:

    • Luke 11:1-4
    • John 1:12
    • Genesis 21:14-19
    • Romans 8:28
    • John 21

"You don't have to do anything on your own. Our Father equips, encourages, and walks with His children every step of the way."
