On July 1, 1981, four people were brutally murdered inside a house on Wonderland Avenue in the Hollywood Hills. The crime scene was so gruesome that investigators compared it to the infamous Manson murders.

At the center of the investigation was John Holmes, once one of the most recognizable names in the adult film industry. By 1981, his life had spiraled into drug addiction, desperate financial circumstances, and dangerous associations with figures in the Los Angeles criminal underworld.

What began as a robbery involving notorious nightclub owner and drug dealer Eddie Nash would lead to one of the most savage multiple murders in Hollywood history.

But what role did John Holmes actually play? Was he a participant, an unwilling accomplice, or a man caught between two dangerous worlds?

In this episode of Hollywood Horrors, we investigate the Wonderland murders, the criminal underworld of 1980s Los Angeles, the evidence surrounding Holmes, and the unanswered questions that continue to haunt the case more than four decades later.
