Welcome to episode 63!!

It's the festive season and we have a special episode for you - the welfare regs are having a well earned rest but they will be back on our next free episode. In the mean time we have a Daisy & Lynsey special where we discuss what IOSH Managing Safely can offer versus what the NEBOSH certificate offers and how to decide which is right for you or what path to follow.

As always, everything in this episode is our own personal views and others may think differently but we hope our experience of delivering these courses ( and getting great feedback as trainers delivering them) will help you decide what is right for you or your staff.

Welcome to our continuation of the welfare regs, regulation 3 - there is just SO much, we had to create a second part!

As before, reg 3 is the application of the regulations, so who they do apply to, don't apply to and work activities, locations that they cover but also when they don't.

These are setting the knowledge in place before we get in to the detail of the regulations so we like to think they are setting us up for the nitty gritty :)

Welcome to episode 55 where Daisy chats with author, Mark Prince who wrote a pocket guide to safety. The book is titled "The 6 essential elements - what safety consultants keep secret" to support small businesses with the basics of health & safety.

Mark has the same idea as The Angels and wants to take away the jargon to enable people to get super simple access to the fundamentals of managing H&S in a small business.

Welcome to our 2nd summer special of 4. This week Daisy speaks with Liz from Just Culture to discuss sexual harassment in the workplace, what that involves and the laws around it.

In October 2023 new protections from sexual harassment came into force by the Government under the Worker Protection Act 2023. The legislation states employers must proactively take steps to prevent sexual harassment from taking place.

Every employer in the UK will have a legal duty so this is a must listen!
