• Talking to Your Partner When You’re Both Tapped Out (Neurodivergent Marriage + Overstimulation + Conflict Repair Scripts + The Tone Trap)
    Jan 14 2026
ND Marriage Scripts: Talk Without Escalating When FriedIf you’ve ever tried to explain what you need—and it came out as anger—this episode is for you. And if you and your partner are both good people but keep missing each other in the worst moments, this is for you too. In this nervous-system-first conversation, I’m breaking down what happens when two tapped-out nervous systems try to communicate in the little-kid season—especially when you’re a neurodivergent mom and your partner’s wiring needs different cues (like verbal confirmation that you heard them). We’ll talk about the 3 biggest “hot zones” that trigger conflict—chores + mental load, overstimulation + shutdown, and money stress + trust—and why a lot of fights aren’t about the topic… they’re about wiring, timing, and load. You’ll get my simple Tapped Out Protocol (name your state → name your need → make a micro-ask), plus word-for-word scripts for when you need space, help, backup, or repair—without spiraling into people-pleasing or scorched-earth mode. And we’re naming the tone trap too: how ND bluntness (and the identities we’ve had to carry) can get misread, and how to soften your delivery without masking—so your message can land while you stay true to yourself. This episode includes a free 10-minute weekly team meeting agenda you can grab in the show notes to make hard conversations easier to contain.Next steps: Follow the show so you never miss an episode, and check the show notes to connect with me on Instagram/Threads/Facebook/TikTok/YouTube/X + download the free 10-min weekly team meeting agenda in the show notes (below). In this episode, we’re digging into talking to your partner when you’re both tapped out—because communication when overwhelmed hits different when you’re navigating neurodivergent marriage (especially autistic mom marriage) and trying to stay connected through overstimulation in relationships, the messy reality of shutdown vs escalation, and the moments where you need real, usable conflict repair scripts for relationship repair. We’re naming the patterns that keep couples stuck—like chores resentment, mental load, and invisible labor—and grounding everything in nervous system regulation for couples with practical communication scripts for couples you can actually say out loud when your brain is fried. We’re also calling out the tone trap and exploring how to soften without masking, so you can be clear without disappearing. And because stress loves a loophole, we’re addressing the hard stuff too: money stress in marriage, trust issues money, budgeting conversations, and how to set boundaries with partner that protect the relationship (and your capacity) in the season of marriage after kids, postpartum marriage, and executive dysfunction.#NeurodivergentMarriage #AutisticMom #OverstimulatedMom #CommunicationSkills #ConflictRepair #MentalLoad #NervousSystemRegulation #GroundedInFullColorCommunity Membership: https://prynseccebonye.com/b/the-glowboard-clubInstagram: https://instagram.com/prynseccebonyeShow Notes: https://prynseccebonye.com/blog/podcast-show-notes/talking-to-your-partner-when-you-re-both-tapped-out-without-escalatingThis episode is brought to you by:Hungryroot: real-ingredient meals + smart groceries, no brain spiral. 🍲✅ https://www.hungryroot.com/Grove restocks non-toxic essentials on autopilot—clean swaps, delivered—so you can breathe. 🧼📦 Free shipping with orders $29+ at https://www.grove.co/Aires supports “my brain feels buzzy” days—simple help for your space, especially if you’re sensitive. 📱🌿(Referral 🔗) https://airestech.com?referral_code=7z8xxl9JFaW5kppQdAmazing Marvin is an ADHD-friendly command center: flexible, customizable, built for real brains. 🧠✨ 14-Day Trial, then $8/month at https://amazingmarvin.com/Earth Harbor is gentle + glowy for sensitive skin—use code ‘PRYNSECC’ for savings at https://earthharbor.com/. 🌊✨

  • After I Yell: Real-Life Repair Scripts for Neurodivergent Moms (Apology + Reset + Firm Parenting)
    Jan 9 2026
After You Yell: Repair Scripts for Overstimulated MomsIf you’ve ever mentally berated yourself after yelling—and then immediately vowed to “never do that again”—this episode is for you. In this real-life, nervous-system-first conversation, I’m sharing what repair actually looks like when you’re a neurodivergent mom parenting little kids while you are dysregulated too: the noise, the touch, the demand stacking up… the snap… the instant guilt… and then the moment your kids cry, get scared, and sometimes even name it out loud (“Mommy, you got frustrated”).You’ll learn my simple 4-step repair loop (regulate first → name what happened → take responsibility without dumping → reconnect and reset), plus word-for-word repair scripts you can use with toddlers and young kids—including why I say “I apologize” instead of “I’m sorry,” how to reconnect with “hug or space,” and how to stay gentle and firm so repair doesn’t turn into permissive parenting. This episode is about reducing shame so you can reduce repetition—because your kids don’t need a perfect mom. They need you.In other words: this is your go-to guide for after I yell moments—real repair after yelling that doesn’t rely on empty promises, but on repair scripts for toddlers and practical tools for the overstimulated mom in the thick of it. We’ll talk honestly about what it means to be a neurodivergent mom (including the lived reality of an autistic mom) practicing gentle parenting while holding gentle and firm parenting boundaries at the same time. You’ll learn how to keep parenting while dysregulated from turning into a shame spiral, using rupture and repair plus nervous system regulation for moms strategies that actually work in the moment—especially when mom rage, postpartum overwhelm, and sensory overload are all sitting in the driver’s seat. We’ll break down emotional regulation and co-regulation in real-life language, share an apology script for kids that supports connection without collapse, and give you repeatable parenting scripts for cycle breaking, boundaries with kids, and steadier parenting while dysregulated moments—because parenting scripts, regulation, and repair are how you change the pattern when parenting while dysregulated meets sensory overload in the wild. BTW, check out the song "Back to My Love" by Becky Hill, Little Simz...it's literally an anthem for this type of episode.Next steps: Search Grounded & In Full Color on Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts. • Low-Spoons Homemaking: How I Keep a Semi-Sane House With a Fried Brain (25-Min Containment Reset + Anchor Room for Overstimulated Moms)
    Jan 6 2026
Overstimulated Mom Reset: 25-Min House Containment SprintIf you’re an overstimulated mom or neurodivergent mom who wants a semi-sane house without burning out, this episode is for you. I’m sharing a nervous-system-first homemaking reset (not a cleaning episode): my 25-minute containment reset (Pomodoro-style), plus tiny systems like an anchor room (or anchor surface) and a one-bin “containment” method that reduces visual clutter and decision fatigue fast. You’ll leave with a repeatable reset you can use when your brain disappears—but the baby still needs to be fed, your partner needs something, and the kids are doing the most.If you’re craving low spoons homemaking and low spoons cleaning that actually works for a neurodivergent mom, an autistic mom, or any overstimulated mom, this is a nervous system reset built around nervous system regulation for moms—a repeatable house reset routine that uses a 25 minute reset with Pomodoro cleaning to cut through visual clutter overwhelm, decision fatigue, executive dysfunction, and time blindness by focusing on an anchor room (or even just an anchor surface) and ultra-simple home systems for moms like sticky note checklists, simple routines for moms, and realistic support for sensory overload home moments (including dishes sensory aversion, snack plate dinner, and backup options like Hungryroot meals) so you can keep a semi sane house without burning out.Next steps: Search Grounded & In Full Color on Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts. • Soft Life, Loud House: Redefining “Gentle” When You’re Neurodivergent (Nervous System Respect + Real-Life Motherhood)
    Jan 3 2026
Soft Life in a Loud House (Neurodivergent Mom Edition)If “soft life” content has ever made you feel behind because your house is loud, your routines aren’t aesthetic, and your nervous system doesn’t stay calm on command—this episode is for you. In this pillar episode of Grounded & In Full Color, I’m redefining soft life for neurodivergent moms as something real and usable: nervous system respect, not perfection. We talk about why Instagram soft life can backfire for autistic/ADHD/sensitive moms (hello, sensory overload and shame spirals), and what “gentle” actually looks like when you’re dysregulated too. You’ll get my simple 3-part framework—environment softness (sound, light, clutter), systems softness (fewer decisions, rhythm over rigid routines), and relational softness (repair, boundaries, co-regulation)—plus a “Soft Tuesday” menu of tiny choices that help in real life: decision-diet dinners, paper-plate permission, quiet-mode cues, doom-baskets, and short reset rituals. And yes—we’re talking tiny luxuries that actually help. One of mine is Earth Harbor AURORA because the scent is unlike anything I’ve smelled before (fresh greens + intriguing), the color is gorgeous, and the name feels like an energetic hug. Quick transparency: some links mentioned may be affiliate links (at no extra cost to you).In this episode, I’m redefining soft life and soft life for moms through the lens of neurodivergent motherhood, because the reality for an autistic mom (and an ADHD mom (if applicable)) often includes sensory overload, sensory sensitivity, and overstimulation—even on “good” days. We’ll talk about what gentle parenting looks like when you’re also human, including gentle parenting when dysregulated, and how nervous system regulation can be practical instead of performative. This is for the moms facing mom burnout, running on low spoons, and trying to build realistic routines while living with executive dysfunction—without turning self-care into another job. I’m also covering repair after yelling, how to set boundaries without guilt, and why co-regulation can be the missing bridge between “I want to be gentle” and “my body is in fight-or-flight.” Most of all, we’re anchoring the idea of soft life not aesthetic—a soft life that fits real homes, real kids, and real nervous systems.Next steps: Follow the show so you never miss an episode, then check the show notes to connect with me on Instagram/Threads/Facebook/TikTok/YouTube/X. • When Your Nervous System Is Screaming and You Still Have to Make Dinner (Overstimulated Mom Reset Tools + Neurodivergent Motherhood)
    Jan 2 2026
Overstimulated Mom? Reset Before Dinner in 5 StepsIf you’re an overstimulated mom (neurodivergent, sensitive, burned out, postpartum—any of the above) and you’re hitting that late-afternoon “witching hour” where your body is buzzing but dinner still has to happen, this episode is for you. I’m breaking down overstimulation in mom language—sounds, touch, visual clutter, interruptions, decision fatigue—and why it’s not a character flaw… it’s nervous system load. You’ll get my simple Overstimulation Map (Inputs → Internal State → Exit Ramps) plus 5 tiny tools I use in real life when I’m maxed out but still parenting: naming it out loud, a 90-second micro-break, reducing input with one lever, a “decision diet” dinner plan (two options only), and a repair script that stops the shame spiral after a hard moment. As an overstimulated mom, I’m walking you through practical nervous system regulation for real life—when sensory overload and sensory overwhelm are stacking on top of the daily chaos of neurodivergent motherhood. This one is especially for the autistic mom brain (and the ADHD mom (if applicable) brain) that’s juggling mom burnout, dinner time stress, and nonstop decision fatigue while also dealing with executive dysfunction and time blindness. We’ll talk about gentle parenting when dysregulated, what repair after yelling can sound like without spiraling into shame, and how co-regulation can help when you’re running on low spoons. I’m also sharing realistic routines for moms that reduce load instead of adding “one more thing,” so dinner doesn’t become the daily breaking point.Next steps: Follow the show so you never miss an episode, then check the show notes to connect with me on Instagram/Threads/Facebook/TikTok/YouTube/X and explore The Glowboard Club + my One-Week Voice Note Support + Reflection Sanctuary (real-time voice-note support for overwhelmed moms).Quick transparency: some links mentioned may be affiliate links (at no extra cost to you).#OverstimulatedMom #NervousSystemRegulation #NeurodivergentMotherhood #SensoryOverload #MomBurnout #GentleParenting #ExecutiveDysfunction #GroundedInFullColorCommunity Membership: https://prynseccebonye.com/b/the-glowboard-clubInstagram: https://instagram.com/prynseccebonyeShow Notes: https://prynseccebonye.com/blog/podcast-show-notes/overstimulated-mom-5-tiny-resets-for-the-dinner-time-spiralThis episode it brought to you by:Hungry Root: Grab Dinner Without the Spiral | Dinner is a daily decision—so outsource it. • A Life That Fits Your Brain: The Story Behind Grounded & In Full Color (Late Autism Self-Recognition + Neurodivergent Motherhood)
    Jan 1 2026

Late Autism Self-Recognition: Build a Life That Fits

If you’re a neurodivergent (or suspected-neurodivergent) mom who feels overstimulated, behind on “basic life,” or like you’ve been living on the wrong operating system, this episode is for you. I’m sharing my late/self-recognition as autistic and how motherhood cracked everything open—plus what “soft life” actually means in a loud, kid-filled home: nervous-system respect, tiny systems, repair, and zero perfection theater. You’ll hear what to expect inside

Grounded & In Full Color (storytime, micro-experiments, brain-friendly routines, scripts, and real-life honesty) and how to start building a life that fits your brain—one small, doable shift at a time.In this episode, I’m speaking directly to moms navigating late diagnosed autism and late autism self recognition, especially if you’re an autistic mom trying to survive the beautiful chaos of neurodivergent motherhood while learning more about female autism in real time. We’ll talk honestly about masking and unmasking, the daily reality of sensory overload and overstimulation, and what nervous system regulation can look like when your environment is loud, your needs are real, and your capacity changes hour to hour. I’m also unpacking what a soft life for moms actually means in practice (not aesthetics), including gentle parenting with dysregulation—because love and burnout can exist in the same body on the same day. We’ll name the hard stuff too: executive dysfunction, time blindness, and why “just do a routine” advice often fails—then I’ll share routines for neurodivergent moms that are designed for real life, plus the emotional layers of identity after autism discovery and what it means to rebuild from a place of truth.

  • Introducing The Grounded & In Full Color Podcast
    Dec 11 2025

Are you a neurodivergent mom of little kids who feels overstimulated from sunrise to bedtime? Do you find yourself Googling “why am I so overwhelmed as a mom?” or “am I autistic or just failing at life?” Binging self-help content with 26 tabs open and still not knowing how to make your actual life feel softer? And the biggest question of all: how do I build a life that fits my brain while I’m raising tiny humans?

Grounded & In Full Color is a neurodivergent mom podcast and studio for soft life, overstimulation, and building a life that fits your brain. This is a lo-fi, weighted-blanket corner of the internet for moms with scattered systems and full hearts — the ones waiting to exhale and watch a real life unfold in real time from a brain that never quite fit the default settings.

I’m Prynsecc Ebonye — a neurodivergent, Level 1 autistic stay-at-home mom of three, digital content creator, and your big sister on the internet. From Houston, I share story-driven, practical episodes on neurodivergent motherhood, gentle-ish parenting, low-spoons homemaking, mental health, digital creativity, and money stories, all through the lens of a brain that processes everything in parallel. If you’ve ever highlighted books or saved posts from people like Dr. Becky Kennedy, Gabor Maté, Dr. Shefali Tsabary, Nedra Glover Tawwab, KC Davis, Ramani Durvasula, Mr. Chazz Lewis or other trauma-informed, gentle-parenting, and neurodivergence-affirming voices, you’ll feel right at home here as I talk about how I’m applying those kinds of insights in real time.

Grounded in real life, we talk about: • Neurodivergent motherhood in full color – Masking and unmasking, sensory overload, shutdowns, yelling and repair, and what “gentle” parenting looks like when you’re dysregulated too. • Soft, sustainable life with kids (not just candles) – Low-spoons homemaking, simple meals, realistic routines, visual cues, sticky-note checklists, and tiny systems that keep things moving on the hardest days. • Digital creativity with a parallel brain – Making content with toddlers in the background, showing up online when you’re tired, time-blindness, and turning your brain’s quirks into your creative edge. • Marriage, family, identity & mental health – Communication with your partner, extended family boundaries, people-pleasing, cycle-breaking, shame, self-concept, and learning to like your own brain. • Digital creativity & money stories – Building a personal brand as a neurodivergent mom, creating content with three kids at home, and making “soft life” make sense for your nervous system and your bank account.

While the show is currently solo, I also leave room for future conversations with trauma-informed therapists, occupational therapists, neurodivergent coaches, gentle parenting educators, nervous-system practitioners, and money + business mentors whose work supports overstimulated moms like us.

If you’re a neurodivergent (or suspected-neurodivergent) mom — or simply a deeply overstimulated, sensitive mother with a loud house and a big heart — this podcast is your weighted blanket in audio form. It’s big-sis radio that reminds you you’re not broken, you just need a life that fits your brain, one parallel-brain conversation at a time. 💛
