  • Episode 661: Ep 661 DHEA Cream for Hormone & Cortisol Balance
    Feb 4 2026

DHEA was first identified in 1931 by Dr. Adolf Butenandt, who was awarded the Nobel Prize for Chemistry in 1939. Frequently called “the anti-aging hormone”, DHEA is a base for more than 50 hormones that are smaller or more specific carbon chain molecules in human biochemistry. As a precursor for all estrogenic and androgenic hormones, humans make DHEA naturally from birth.

It’s now well established that chronic stress leads to an out-pouring of cortisol and with that, a gradual depletion of DHEA. DHEA is a prohormone – a natural building block for hormones our bodies make.

Over time, this hormonal imbalance can lead to brain fog, thinning bones, weight gain, low sex drive and poor Immune function.

Maintaining proper DHEA levels in the body is important to your overall health and may lead to Increased energy, enhanced mood and focus, sound sleep, and better letting skin.

Guest: Joining us today is Hugh Woodward, He is the President of Health2Go, Inc the makers of Twist 25 DHEA cream. Hugh is a subject matter expert on DHEA dedicating nearly 2 decades of his life studying the medical research about it, and starting a company to research, develop the safest most effective DHEA supplement that can be made and distributing it.

In 2007 Mr. Woodward started Health2Go, Inc. to research and develop leading edge anti-aging and wellness products and bring them to people conveniently and cost effectively.

Quality matters when supplementing with DHEA.

Twist 25 DHEA Cream puts exactly what the body makes naturally – bioidentical DHEA -in the skin, where the body processes DHEA. As a base building block for hormones, DHEA gives the body a key foundation it uses to make hormones, (especially the androgens our feel-good hormones.)

  • Episode 660: Ep 660 Is creatine beneficial for older adults?
    Feb 4 2026

We have a great show planned today and will talk about why there has been a significant rise in people of all ages using Creatine. To help us unpack all the research and studies we have Dr. Stengler joining us today.

In addition to authoring 30 books on health and several best-sellers such as “The Natural Physician’s Healing Therapies,” “Prescription for Natural Cures,” “Prescription for Drug Alternatives,” and “Outside the Box Cancer Therapies,” Dr. Stengler has been published in several peer-reviewed medical journals such as The International Journal of Family & Community Medicine, Endocrinology & Metabolism International Journal, and Journal of Nutritional Health & Food Engineering.

Dr. Stengler’s, NMD. The newest book is called, The Holistic Guide to Gut Health.
A comprehensive yet accessible approach to healing leaky gut and the many uncomfortable symptoms it causes. Dr Stengler is also the founder of The Stengler Center for Integrative Medicine.

    Talking Points:

Is creatine only useful for resistance / power type activities?

There are a variety of athletic events, not just resistance/power activities, which may benefit from creatine supplementation.

-Creatine supplementation with carbohydrate or carbohydrate and protein has been reported to promote greater muscle glycogen storage than carbohydrate supplementation alone.

-May reduce muscle damage and/or enhance recovery from intense exercise.

-Individuals supplementing their diet with creatine experienced less muscle damage, inflammation, and muscle soreness in response to running 30-km as well as during 4-weeks of intensified training.

-There is evidence that athletes who supplement with creatine during training experience fewer musculoskeletal injuries, accelerated recovery time from injury and less muscle atrophy after immobilization.

-Creatine supplementation (with or without glycerol) has been reported to help athletes hyper-hydrate and thereby enhance tolerance to exercise in the heat

-There is evidence from animal models that creatine supplementation is neuroprotective and can reduce the severity of spinal cord injury, cerebral ischemia, and concussion/traumatic brain injury. This evidence was so compelling that the International Society of Sports Nutrition recommended that athletes engaged in sports that have a potential for concussion and/or spinal cord injury take creatine for its neuroprotective effects.

  • Episode 658: Ep 658 Many chronic health issues are rooted in Mineral Depletion.
    Jan 20 2026

Your body contains approximately 100 different types of minerals, but most people are deficient or imbalanced, leading to symptoms like brain fog, lethargy, irregular sleep patterns, and even reduced sex drive. Yet, mineral supplementation remains neglected - mostly because people don’t realize how easy it is.

Finally, someone is talking about mineral replenishment!

Containing each of the minerals the body needs for optimal function, BEAM Minerals restores cellular energy, allowing the body to gain and maintain healthy balance.

On this episode we spend some time with a special guest, who has been coined, The Mineral Geek.

Caroline Alan is a health survivor, mineral expert, and educator on a mission to redefine how we think about cellular health. After a high-pressure career in tech left her physically and mentally depleted, her healing journey led to the discovery of plant-based minerals and their powerful role in restoring the body’s natural balance. Her experience sparked deep research into human physiology and the science of humic and fulvic substances.

Today, as Co-Founder and CEO of BEAM Minerals, Caroline, affectionately known as “The Mineral Geek,” shares this life-changing knowledge with clarity, science, and heart, empowering others to take charge of their wellness at the cellular level.

    Talking Points:

More than 30 trillion cells in the body: Minerals are required in the life cycle of a cell and to function properly.

Without minerals the cells struggle to complete basic functions.

We tend to think of illness as something wrong with an organ or a system of the body, rather than a symptom of depletion at the cellular level.

Many chronic health issues are rooted in mineral depletion.

  • Episode 655: Ep 655 The Science behind Urinary & Bladder Support
    Jan 13 2026

Millions of Americans are frustrated with their urinary problems. More specifically, the need to urinate multiple times a day and night and leaking urine is frustrating to many people over the age of 45. Fortunately, there have been successful advances in the herbal treatment of common urinary problems. We are excited to share these breakthroughs on the show today.

Tracey Seipel, ND, is CEO and founder of Australian-based Seipel Group. Dr. Seipel is a renowned naturopathic doctor, medical herbalist, and clinical nutritionist. Dr. Seipel is also a diabetes educator, researcher, and an award-winning natural products formulator with 35 years of experience in clinical practice.

She pioneered the natural urological health category receiving a Nutrition Business Journal award in 2006 for innovation. During the 1990s, Seipel was a leader in establishing standards of education for Australian naturopathic colleges and as an advisor to government boards, including developing nutritional training for Australia Medical Schools. During her research as a product formulator for nutraceutical companies, she uncovered the significant prevalence and underreporting of urinary incontinence in women and then overactive bladder and incontinence in both men and women. Together, this led to her pioneering this natural health category. Understanding the significant health impacts and seeing no other companies willing to take on the challenge of improving bladder control, Seipel developed the initial formulation.
